How do they pronounce their name? Everyone usually always pronounces my name wrong (even if I just introduced myself with the correct pronunciation, they just say it back with the incorrect pronunciation. It's so annoying).

^ I joined in July of 2011
> Wow. I didn't think it was that long. I don't know what I would've done if my sisters hadn't introduced my to GR. *shudder* Where I be without you (break-into-song time!)
v Do you know that song???? That's the line right before the chorus. You probably don't though

Elevetha | 11058 comments ^ I don't think I do. (Deal, Leyah! I do not, Johanna! Okay, maybe:)
> I joined in August 2012.
V Just woke up?

message 4353: by Marlene (last edited May 25, 2013 09:44AM) (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) ^ I've been awake for an hour or so. :) And my name is pronounced in the German fashion, but most people pronounce it the Americanized way. Whatevs, my name is better the way I spell and pronounce it. :P
> I joined GR in April of 2012, so I just passed my one-year anniversary! YAY! I've been on LibraryThing much longer, though. I joined that site in 2010, but got a different account and heralded in my use of the name Eris in 2011.
V Is on LibraryThing.

message 4354: by Elevetha (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments ^ Nope.
> Interesting about the name. Mine is pronounced pretty much the same everywhere, I think. Although the British pronounced it differently back in Austen's time.
V Morning!

message 4355: by Marlene (last edited May 25, 2013 09:54AM) (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) ^ Good morning, Your Majesty! And should I ever meet you, I shall pronounce your real name the Austenian way, and address you as "milady" and "Queen" all the time. :D
> Sure this is cheesy, but ergh, it gets mah feels going! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNBKr8... I didn't even mind the song choice. I like this cover of it. And sigh... zeh feels! :')
V Ships Whouffle.

message 4356: by Elevetha (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments ^ Why yes I do.
> But...but it sounds completely different and then it sounds like a different name with a different spelling that we have now. Oh, whatever. I'll get to call you your name. Bwhahhahah.

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) ^ Ta. :) What a lovely video, Elevetha. I think I saw that one before (has spent way too much time combing through looking for Whouffle videos)
> I follow a blog called BakingWhouffle, and they're working on a Whouffle video using King and Lionheart! :D :D :D They're investing a lot of time and effort into it, so it'll probably be a while, but I am so looking forward to it. King and Lionheart is my chief Whouffle song.

> @ Eris. Thank you. *bows* That's the first one I watched without you prompting me. I trust I'll be able to watch it(King and Lionheart, Wooohooo!) on your Tumblr immediately, yeah?!:D
V Is their a password on your family computer and do you know it?

v Explain

message 4362: by Elevetha (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments ^ Um, is there a password you have to type in before it lets you access all the stuff on the computer?
> It's fairly straightforward.
V So I'm gonna go with no.

message 4363: by Briana (last edited May 25, 2013 10:20AM) (new)

Briana (brianals) | 15203 comments Mod
^ No...
> I'm not sure I've heard of anything like that before
v Has typed in passwords for different accounts when logging in to something (I do that kind of a lot. I have so many passwords, and lots of them are variations of passwords)

message 4364: by Elevetha (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments ^ Only on the library.
> I got a new library card so I had to memorize the new one and try to forget the old one and then I always check my sister's card too at both libraries. It's exhausting.
V Has their library card memorized?

message 4365: by Briana (new)

Briana (brianals) | 15203 comments Mod
^ *laughs* I memorized it the day that I got it (a.k.a. almost three years ago)
> So... I sometimes have really long passwords
v Very long (one time I had one that was... at least over 30 characters long. I finally changed it because it was so annoying having to type it in)

message 4366: by Elevetha (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments ^ That's absurd.
> Mine is 7 characters, I think. And I use it for pretty much everything, which isn't safe if someone figured it out but it's not one of those "If you know me, you can guess it" ones.
V I'm very sneaky.

^ Ook
> Mine (for GR) is... 10 characters long. Others are longer. Like my pottermore, gmail, other that I can't think of right now... (I think gmail is the longest right now)
v So... Where you ever going to lend me the polyjuice potion on pottermore??

message 4368: by Elevetha (last edited May 25, 2013 11:11AM) (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments ^ I thought you said you didn't need it.
> Plus, I can't lend it to you. I have to give it to you and then I have to make another one for myself, which requires days of my time.
V So until I have another one already made, you'll have to wait.

message 4369: by Briana (new)

Briana (brianals) | 15203 comments Mod
^ Or can't I just give you your potion back after I use it?? (And I never said I didn't need it)
> ??
v ??

message 4370: by Elevetha (last edited May 25, 2013 11:49AM) (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments ^ Wow. You really want my potion.
> Are you having trouble making it yourself?
V I'll send it over. DragonVinesomething something, right? (Do you need both parts?) Oh! And I'm nicknaming you all your real names so I can keep track:)

message 4371: by Briana (new)

Briana (brianals) | 15203 comments Mod
^ I just want to get the stuff in the Slytherin commonroom. Well, whenever I try (or tried in the past. I kind of gave up) after I wait the allotted time and try to finish making it, it always says something like "You haven't brewed the potion right". It's really annoying. And I do need both parts. I already tried with one. It didn't work
> Catching up an chapters that I didn't know they added
v Send me the other part??

message 4372: by Elevetha (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments ^ Sure.
> Hang on.
V There you go.

> Where did you get the Andros the Invincible card??
v You probably don't remember so I'll have to look it up on google

message 4376: by Elevetha (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments ^ I don't remember.
> Look on Pottermore wikia.
V It's got everything.

message 4377: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) ^ It does. :) I feel happy to be a Slytherin so I didn't have to brew the potion in order to get in.
> I lost track of Pottermore for a while because my browser is out of date and I couldn't see any of the chapters.
V I was so shocked when I saw that Slytherin had won the House Cup! Hufflepuff was in the lead for the longest time, and we Snakes were happy with just beating Gryffindor. Crazy stuff.

message 4378: by Elevetha (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments ^ I was upset.
> Poor baby Ravenclaw.
V *pat pat*

message 4379: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) ^ Well, you guys are second now, so hopefully you can take the lead. Personally, I don't care who wins. It's no biggie.
> After the second book even Harry and his friends stopped caring who won! They had more important things to do.
V But it is nice when my beloved Slytherin does well. :)

message 4380: by Elevetha (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments ^ Oh, I'm not freaking out over it.
> It's just a bit sad that Ravenclaw can't win.
V Frankly, it's mighty boring when there isn't new stuff to be found.

message 4381: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) ^ I know. 'Tis a problem. I do like the extra material from J.K. Rowling, though! The woman is a genius.
> I also have fun randomly talking to people in the Common Room. They improved the chat system, so now comments get posted immediately.
V I've had many interesting chats. The Giant Squid got adopted by Slytherin once, and we dubbed it Zoth. Even though it was trying to drown us.

V Um, the CR (keep in mind I don't understand it's purpose as such), say, the Ravenclaw CR is for all the Ravenclaws to talk to one another on Pottermore.
