^ Oh, I see :P Yes, that could get confusing O_o (Hey Joji! :D)
> I guess Aussie does have the same holidays then :P Southern Hemisphere ftw, anyway.
v There are rather a lot of Aussie GRers.
> I guess Aussie does have the same holidays then :P Southern Hemisphere ftw, anyway.
v There are rather a lot of Aussie GRers.

> Didn't actually realise that before
V None of my RL friends are on here though

> Leyah is an Aussie. Brittany, Kyle and a few others.
V So how long have you been on GR? (Disregard if Hobbit)
^ Good question :D (@Joji - :])
> I think it kept coming up when I googled books and authors :P I introduced myself to it.
v You?
> I think it kept coming up when I googled books and authors :P I introduced myself to it.
v You?

> Now can't stop looking at pictures of men in suits.
V *shakes head* It's a disease.

> It's an awesome site
V Going to go eat lunch now

> It's a bloody awesome site.
V It's hard to think of never having found it and met all you guys.
^ I know ;_;
> Who was your first friend??
v Cat friended me first. I think. She was my first real friend, anyway.
> Who was your first friend??
v Cat friended me first. I think. She was my first real friend, anyway.

> She was my first GR friend.
V Who's your best GR friend?

> Really?? *happy*
V Would have been awkward if someone else has responded first....
^ Hahah, yes I was thinking that. Like, "Wow, me? Thanks!" "Um, well, actually ..."
> (:
v And you? P:
> (:
v And you? P:

> @Hobbit: Us Victorians' holidays ended about three weeks ago
v Dunno if that applies to the rest of Aus

> If I had to pick 1, and not include my sister....Eris. She is bestie best GR friend.
V Yeah...I love you all. Our small circle of friends is brilliant.

> My first friend was a girl who recommended me a whole bunch of books
V as to my best friend, well I don't talk to many people...
^ My bad, you guys posted before me xD
> Never :'(
v I want to see a SQUIRREL. Has seen a squirrel before? :D
> Never :'(
v I want to see a SQUIRREL. Has seen a squirrel before? :D

> And yeah, Booknut friends everyone in the group. But we had a very interesting conversation over about four days that really got me into Goodreads
v It made me realize how friendly Goodreads was

> Never :'(
v I want to see a SQUIRREL. Has seen a squirrel before? :D"
^ You've never seen a SQUIRREL???? They are always in my backyard.
> GR is so friendly. It's ridiculous.
V It's a great intro to internet life.

> Yes, Leyah. That is true.
V But if one was so inclined to venture out, it's a nice start. And middle. And end.
^ Agreed.
> Nope, I've never seen a squirrel :'( I'd love to, though. Do you get red ones, Elev?
v g2g in a minute
> Nope, I've never seen a squirrel :'( I'd love to, though. Do you get red ones, Elev?
v g2g in a minute

> Do I have deer??? Is the sun hot??? We got 27 at a time once. They tramp through our backyard like they own the place. And they have their offspring in our woods.
V What else haven't you seen?
^ o_____________________o
> Well, I've never seen a fox, for starters. I've seen deer, just not uh ... like that o_O And not in my backyard.
v I've seen rabbits, hedgehogs, bats, possums ... that's about all the wild mammals. Yet to see squirrels, foxes, bears, badgers, prairie dogs, raccoons, chipmunks, caribou-or-whatever-they're-called, moose ...
Did I miss anything?

> We have a family of possums in our grapefruit tree. And heaps of birds. Rosellas, honey-thingos, kookaburras, magpies, galahs, cockatoos, a woodpigeon (We think that's what it was) and a lot of miners (Zay not good). There was a wombat across the road once, too, and we've had a couple of echidnas drop by to annoy the dogs and dig holes under the gates through which the dogs can escape.
v Pretty much it for me.

> We get mainly birds too, especially in the park next door - mostly magpies and lorikeets. We also get crickets - so noisy. Fruitbats occasionally...
We get a few possums in our backyard, and that's about it. The neighbour's cat.
V What I really want to see is a wild horse. ONly ever see domesticated ones...

> I've seen (from your list, Johanna) squirrels, foxes, prairie dogs, chipmunks, raccoon, and elk.
V Likes 40's/50's clothing.
^ @Leyah I forgot about Aussie animals :D I've seen a wild koala, but any wallabies, kangaroos, echidnas etc. were in zoos :P
> We have wild horses here :D Never seen one, though.
v And ^ to Leyah's question xD
> We have wild horses here :D Never seen one, though.
v And ^ to Leyah's question xD

> @Ethan. They're so bloody gorgeous.
V Why don't we dress like that anymore? It's just sad, really.
