v I've seen rabbits, hedgehogs, bats, possums ... that's about all the wild mammals. Yet to see squirrels, foxes, bears, badgers, prairie dogs, raccoons, chipmunks, caribou-or-whatever-they're-called, moose ...

Rosellas, honey-thingos, kookaburras, magpies, galahs, cockatoos, a woodpigeon (We think that's what it was) and a lot of miners (Zay not good). There was a wombat across the road once, too, and we've had a couple of echidnas drop by to annoy the dogs and dig holes under the gates through which the dogs can escape.
