^ Indeed, thank you.
> I love quotes.
v It isn't often when you get the perfect opportunity for a quote.

message 2793: by Elevetha (last edited Apr 05, 2013 08:52PM) (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments ^ No. Not often the 'perfect' one.
> My family holds entire conversations in quotes. It drives dinner guests crazy. And my dad:)
V Same?

message 2794: by johanna (jo), soliloquist. (new)

johanna (jo) (johannad_m) | 11500 comments Mod
^ I wish. Except that in my family if half the family have read/watched that quote, the rest won't have, and even if they have, we aren't that intelligent and the conversation will be ruined by "Huh?"s.
> Which is why I spend most of my day on GR, where there are people of such literal and uh, film-ial intelligence that you will actually understand my quotes.
v What's your favourite quote?

message 2795: by Elevetha (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments ^ There's too many!
> "I do not think that word means what you think it means." "There's some lovely filth down here." (Don't ask but we say it all the time.) "I'm going to have a magnificent garden party and you're not invited." There's way too many!!
V What's yours?

message 2796: by johanna (jo), soliloquist. (new)

johanna (jo) (johannad_m) | 11500 comments Mod
^ Find a quote by Bilbo or Sherlock Holmes and you've found it.
> "I am a burglar, but an honest one, I hope, more or less."; "My name is Sherlock Holmes. It is my business to know what other people don't know." And various others.
v You're right. There are way too many. And I haven't even listed any film quotes. What is the first quote you mentioned from?

message 2797: by Elevetha (last edited Apr 05, 2013 09:16PM) (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments ^ The Princess Bride. One of my favorite movies:)
> "There was a bee." "What? Hey - why are you circling me? What were you, a vulture in another life? " "What do they teach you in those orphanages?"
V Recognize those?

message 2798: by johanna (jo), soliloquist. (new)

johanna (jo) (johannad_m) | 11500 comments Mod
^ Not really. But I've watched The Princess Bride, so I now see what you were talking about earlier ^^
