^ I have a natural talent for procrastination.
> And then I'm in bed at the end of the day and I get all stressed and decide that if I live or die, I will do better tomorrow . . .
v And then in the morning it's just, yeah, right.

message 6387: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 8612 comments ^ Because we are teenagers and mornings just don't work with us... I'm assuming you're a teenager.
> It's funny, isn't it? When you're not in a position to do anything useful it's like "I'm going to be SO productive tonight/tomorrow!"
v And then tonight/tomorrow happens. "Meh. Goodreads is better"

v Anyway. What'cha up to?

message 6389: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 8612 comments ^ Watching videos on YouTube. Trying to avoid Loki stuff because I know it will just depress me and I've kinda been a little too obsessive over him lately XP

> Trying out piano pieces, relaxing . . . We're going to the beach for tea! (Takeaways!) :D :D (Providing the weather's still nice. Stay nice, weather, please!) I want to do some writing, and I've got to type up zeh quiz questions for the holiday programme at church tomorrow :)
v We had the first one today. Exhausting, but the kids are so cute.

> It's pretty beautiful weather here. If you like summer. At least there's a cool breeze.
v How do you know it's cold if you're locked away inside on your computer?:D

message 6393: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 8612 comments ^ Because it's 14 degrees and I'm still in my school uniform. Brr.

> Sometimes I wish I could meet myself as a kid. How weird would that be?
v Didn't like having their photograph taken as a kid?

message 6395: by Leyah (last edited Oct 06, 2013 07:34PM) (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 8612 comments ^ I loved it. Especially the part when you got to see it yourself. I still don't mind it... I don't really get how people hate it. (My school uniform is COLD D:)
> It would be pretty cool. I wish that if and/or when I publish a book, I could walk up to little Leyah scribbling in her first writing book and show her what becomes of her writing in the future. THAT would be a treat.
v Same question to you. Did you not like photos? (You think I'm pretty? Thank you!)

^ I think I hated them. At least family ones . . . (this depends how young I was, though. I think I grew to like them when I got older and more vain :P) we have a couple of photos, you know, with everyone smiling beautifully, except Johanna in the corner there with a red face and a big scowl, or sometimes tears. I don't know what was wrong with me xD I think I just had a natural instinct to ruin it for everyone else.
> :D Yessssss. Definitely. I think I'd write out a booklist for little Johanna, too, because I didn't read much good stuff then.
v *yawn*

message 6397: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 8612 comments ^ Your yawn is catching, Jo *yawn*
> Tears? Why tears?
v Yesiree. I would force eleven year old Leyah to read the Hobbit as soon as Mum bought it for her. Although I haven't a problem with the other books little Leyah read.

^ (I yawned when I read that xD)
What I read was okay, it was what I didn't read. It sounds crazy, but I didn't like anything that wasn't about animals. I just refused to read it. Until I was nine or ten, (eight?) when I think I discovered Percy Jackson and various others, and grudgingly admitted they weren't that bad. I blame my mother for reading me so many books about animals when I was younger xDD (The Rescuers and Redwall, especially. It didn't matter if the animals walked around and wore clothes like people; but human beings I just found so utterly boring.(I would read books about people if animals were the main focus occasionally; a book about a boy and his dog was tolerated)) She did read me books about people as well, but since I loved animals, (and still do) I guess it was the animal ones that stuck with me :P
> I must have read a lot after that to catch up.
v Tears . . . I don't know. I think I cried when I was angry or frustrated and didn't get what I wanted. I was a messed up, bratty kid xD

message 6399: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 8612 comments ^ You? A messed up, bratty kid? Well, if you were, you're not now.
> Reminds me of a friend of mine, she won't touch books with people as the main characters. It really annoys me, but hey, it's her choice.
v You must've. Imagine you not having read the Hobbit and LOTR...

^ I know . . . it's terrible that I didn't. I was read The Hobbit, but I don't really remember it. *sigh* And I missed out on all those classics . . . Enid Blyton and L.M. Montgomery, etc.
> *yawning uncontrollably*
v Imma go and read for a bit, 'kay? See you later.
