NABbing something with an ISBN which disappears

I was attempting to NAB several items which are ribbons and bumper strips. They each have an ISBN-13. Weirdly, when you go into the record to NAB it, the ISBN disappears and is replaced by an ASIN. When you try to switch to ISBN-13, the ASIN disappears and no ISBN shows. I've never seen this before. Is this something new? Normally when something has neither ASIN nor ISBN, we delete it rather than NAB it, so I'm wondering what GR policy would be here. The affected items are:

I think they'll still reimport, so I would NAB them, and let the ISBN/ASIN do what it wants (not edit it).

I've seen it once in a while before with NAB-type items. I think it has to do with what info Amazon exports via its API on some items.
