Is it okay to make two changes? You made the rules in beginning, so you are in charge!

No I keep thinking I'm doing okay. I even had it on paper this time! Let me try again.

message 344: by ☯Emily (new)

☯Emily Ginder | 19098 comments Is lowes a word? Can we use store names? I try to follow Scrabble rules, but that is my own method. Are names okay to use? What about apostrophes? Like Lowe's?

I looked it up on dictionary.com. That's where I usually find words I have no idea what they mean but they'll fit. Maybe I should do a word a day?

Dictionary:
lowers
lawyers
lawer
clawers
lewes
lowes

These are the ones i had to pick from. I'll misspell the word and it will give me several choices. Most of the time I don't know what they mean. :)

What does it mean? I looked on line and on dictionary.com. I saw Lowes as a name, but not lowes. I found low, lower, lowest, etc. Maybe I'm dense! However, if we can use names, it doesn't matter.

Anyway, I played off of it!

lowe verb (used without object) lowed, low·ing. British Dialect .

"used without object " whatever that means!
