Nightdawn looked around, seeing a orange round thig rolling toward them. "What's that?"

Rank gulped. "I'm not sure...it looks something like a ball.." she murmured.

Stormfeather paused, looking at it as well. he held his paw in the air, his shoulder throbbing

Nightdawn poked it with his paw, hen bristled when it lit up. "A ball?" h echoed, swiping a it viciously. It hit the wall, then bounced back and hit him. "Ouch!" he yowled.

Stormfeather muffled a mrrow of amusement and meowed "you alright?"

Smokepaw's neck fur started to rise. "Is this even safe?" she asked doubtfully. Then she smiled. "We gotta keep going. Nightdawn, we can rest after we cross this."

Rank turned and padded closer to the ball and sniffed it. "I still don't know. C'mon let's go."

Stormfeather swatted it as well, curious to see why it moved like that. it hit the wall and bounced at him, but he ducked. it bounced off something beside him and smacked into his hurt shoulder, making him fall down with a hiss of pain.

Powdertail hissed in surprise, "Are you alright, Stormfeather?!" she asked worriedly.

Stormfeather attempted to get back to his paws, but sank back down again "no. that stupid thing made my shoulder hurt too much. i cant put any weight on it now"

A youn Twoleg came down the sidewalk towards them, looking for its ball. when it saw the cats, it sped up saying "kitty! lots of kitty! here kitty!" Stormfeather hissed at the others "go! hide!I'll be fine!" The young Twoleg saw Stormfeather beside its ball and started to pick him up. when it saw how touching his shoudler hurt him, the Twoleg started to take Stormfeather to his house.

Seaflame hissed, leaping after Stormfeather, but the Twoleg was too fast for him. He followed instead. Stormfeather had saved his life, so now ws the time to repay him.

Stormfeather was carried by the Twoleg to its nest. It knocked on the front and when it opened, a Twoleg in white looked at them. the younger Twoleg spoke to the older one, then handed Stormfeather to the older Twoleg. Stormfeather was carried inside with a yowl of alarm.

Stormfeather was set down on a large flat wood thing(table) and the older Twoleg poked and prodded him. when he touched his shoulder, Stormfeather hissed in pain and swatted at him.

Smokepaw glanced at Stoemfeather, and growled. She raced over to the Twoleg and scratched it's leg. "Go Stormfeather!"

Rani hurried after them. "Hold on! Wait don't hurt him!" she cried at the other cats. She pushed her way through them and began to purr loudly. She slunk up to the twoleg and rubbed against him. She blinked at Stormfeather to run. Then she mewed in an adorable tone up at the twoleg.

Powdertail raced without thinking towards the house,but slowed, as to not crash into the entrance. Nimbly hopping up onto a slim ledge near a window, she peered through. "Maybe we could, er, look through the windows on all sides of the nest," she suggested.

Stormfeather was held down by the Twolegs strong paw as it pricked him with something on his shoulder. he hissed at the Twoleg, but it ignored him and placed him in a cage with some food and water.

Seaflame nodded to Powdertail. "Good idea. I'll go around here," he mewed, going around the back. He searched the tall walls of the next, his eyes resting on an open window, leading to the bathroom. "Over here!" he called to the others. "I've found an opening!"

Stormfeather laid down in the cage, feeling very sleepy. His shoulder didnt hurt as much now either, whatever the Twoleg had done wasnt exactly bad, he thought

Powdertail, not being able to see anything, hurriedly jumped off of her ledge and padded softly around to Seaflame. "Maybe, we should split up a bit. Make sure everyone doesn't get caught by the Twolegs," she mewed quietly, while peering around Seaflame at the open window.

The Twoleg left the room, revealing Stormfeather fast asleep in a cage. his shoulder was bandaged with some twoleg stuff that looked life cobweb.

Creeping up to the opening silently, Powdertail passed by Seaflame, and leapt up to the window. Staring through the gap, she wondered where in the nest Stormfeather could be.

Seaflame looked at Powdertail. "Should we go in together? The others could position themselves around the nest, and we could get alerted if one of us gets caught by yowling. What d'you think?"

Nightdawn shrugged and padded around the perimeter of the nest, then went to the door and started to scratch and yowl loudly.

The Twoleg went to the door of the nest when he heard Nightdawn scratching at the door

Rani watched as the group of cats tried to find a way. They were doing everything wrong. But she didn't dare interfere in case she was yelled at again.

nightdawn frowned. "This was not working." he was going have to do somethng he really didnt want to do. he padded over to Rani. "Rani, what do you suggest?" he said flatly/

Smokepaw growled and slipped out. "It doesn't look like the Twoleg is harmful."

"Wait!" Powdertail gracefully leaped down from her perch, and proceeded around to the front of the nest. Mewing pitifully up and the Twoleg, she feinted a 'thorn' in her paw. Rubbing against the Twoleg, she began to purr, looking up at it.

Rani looked up at Nightdawn. Stiffly, she padded towards the nest, jumping up onto a closed windowsill. Then she jumped higher onto another windowsill on the next floor. Finally, she leaped up onto the roof with all her might and carefully padded over to a large brick square sticking up out of the roof. She jumped on top of it and slid inside, tumbling out of the fireplace inside the twolegnest. She then meowed pitifully like she was hurt.

The twoleg picked up Powedertail and brung her inside to treat her. when it saw Rani, it set Powdertail down gently and went over to see if she was okay.

Powdertail tensed, and look around the room. I've just got to find where the Twoleg is keeping Stormfeather, she thought anxiously. "Stormfeather?" she mewed softly, "Are you here? Can you hear me?"

Stormfeather called out in his sleep "featherstorm! is that you?"

Smokepaw looked at the cats then sighed. She went in, and mewled like a kit, indicating a thorn in her paw when she limped. "Stormfeather?"
