Melanor flicked her ears, trying to ward off a fly that was annoying her. She opened one amber eye, muttering a good morning, before closing it again.

Seaflame shook his head, acting like himself again. "I'm fine. But it doesn't look like you are. Are you....."

Stormfeather looked away, not wanting to admit that he had banged his shoulder in the water and it was bothering him "im fine" he meowed softly

"Oh, it's no problem.." Powdertail trailed off. Shrugging, and glad to have made a friend, she looked around for Seaflame. Maybe she could talk to him.

Seaflame decided not to bother Stormfeather, the same as he had done earlier, and said, "Okay, cool. Maybe just have Blazestrike check over you later though, just to see, yeah?" he suggested, before nodding to his clanmate, and waving his tail to Powdertail.

Looking up, Powdertail saw Seaflame wave his tail at her, and padded over to him. "Hey," she mewed. "How are you?" she asked.

"Feeling better," Seaflame admitted to Powdertail. "How 'bout you? I'm sorry about not being able to talk-I sort of was really tired after almost-drowning," he joked.

Smiling, Powdertail purred with laughter. "That;s great! I've been fine, thanks. Really, were you?" she joked along, "I didn't realize. What with you being a soggy lump of fur." She made sure he could see the humorous glint in her eyes, and to not take her seriously enough to be offended.

Stormfeather blinked greatfully at Seaflame and decided to seek out Blazestrike before they moved on.

Nightdawn caught a squirrle and dragged it back moodily.

Seaflame laughed. "Oh, yeah, after I fall into rivers and cough up a ton of water, I normally like to take a short nap." He grinned. "Still enjoying the journey?"

Powdertail shrugged, "I guess," she mewed nonchalantly, "It's getting more interesting." She hesitated, not wanting to tell Seaflame the next piece of information. "Seaflame, other cats want powers too. Do you, er, know how you got yours?" she asked self-consciously.

Smokepaw returned with two mice. She was really sleepy. She shoved the mouse towards her friends and decided to take a catnap.

Blazestrike sighed.

Skypaw padded back to the alley, three small fish in her jaws and eyes full of pride.

Rani looked at her. "Fish?! Yuck!" she exclaimed.

Stormbreeze spotted a squirrel bitting onto a nut, he left his rabbit next to him and quickly killing the squirrel before it spotted him. He quickly returned with the rabbit and the squirrel feeling more tired than before.

Smokepaw curled up, and her whiskers twitched with irritation. I wish they would keep it down, she thought. I've been up all night long!

Stormfeather padded up to Blazestrike, trying to hide his limp. he meowed "Hey um....i kinda banged my shoulder when i was in the water and Seaflame thought it might need to get looked at...."

Blazestrike smiled, noticing the limp right away. "Yeah, you should, but I think it will heal fine," she said and examined his shoulder. "I think you just sprained it, try to not strain that shoulder and try to stay off your feet when you can."

Stormbreeze greeted," how are you stormfeather, Blazestrike?"

Nightdawn sighed. "People, when are we going to go!!!"

Stormbreeze ate the rabbit and squirrel in a few swift bites and prepared to leave.

Seaflame visibly flinched. "I'm...I'm not sure where they came from," he began uncertainly. "But no one wants them. It's bad enough I have them," he mewed, saying the last part bitterly.

Stormfeather heard that and meowed "its not a bad thing. Think about it, if you didnt have that power, i might not have reached you before you would have drowned" he pointed out

Smokepaw woke up, annoyed at the sound of the cats talking. Her eyes softened when they landed on Stormfeather.

Nightdawn's eyes narrowed and he bounded back to the area. "Furballs, when are we goign to get moving!" he yowled.

Blazesrike smiled. "Hello Stormbreeze, I'm fine." She then turned to Nightdawn. "Does soon count?"

Smokepaw got up. "Geez, okay. Sorry, I was up all night with Skypaw guarding over you while you slept! And I hunted!" she snarled.

Nightdawn frowned. "Look, while we hang around... Our clanmates are starving and Storm is taking over." he snapped, his black tail snapping back and forth.

Smokepaw growled. "I'm up. At least the apprentices are doing something. Let's go now, unless anyone objects?"

Smokepaw's eyes met with Stormfeather's, and she softened. "Sorry, it's Nightdawn," she muttered, getting hot

Stormfeather rests his muzzle on her for a brief moment, then walks off to catch up to the others, warring emotions in his eyes
