((Hi, I'm back. :D))

((NO DUR! Welcome back, we totally missed you!!! :DDDDDDD))

Seaflame shifted in his sleep, his tail flicking every so often. He was having a dream.
Waves roared around him, filling his ears with their deafening ripping and whirling. Water filled into his mouth, making his throat sore and his lungs burn. He could see nothing-just a murky, swirling darkness that seemed to want to throw him about in the river, making him thrash about helplessly as he was sucked downwards, away from his safe haven-air. But then-after the roaring and the hissing and whirling of waves, a new sound. Something wonderful to his water clogged ears. A whirling-but better this time. A whirling of water swirling around him, pushing him up, up, higher, towards his much-needed air. And he was out. Out the river, out the whooshing white water that had nearly claimed his life. He willed the whirlpool to drag him to the bank. And it did. The water supported his soaking body, and gently set him onto the bank, panting and half-drowned. Seaflame gasped air in relief,but as he looked up, he could see the faces of his fellow questing cats. They were....shocked. Angry. Disgusted. Scared.
"Guys..." he started to say weakly, but one cat pushes him down with a angry paw.
"Stay away from us. Freak."
And the dream ends.

Smokepaw stared at Seaflame. "It was amazing, that thing he did at the river," she murmured. "I wonder what Starclan has laid for him."

Blazestrike nodded. "That's understandable, some people are just shy."

"Yeah. I don't believe it though. How is it possible? Do you think we all have powers or something?" Skypaw asked.

Blazestrike overheard Skypaw but didn't say anything.

Nodding slowly, Powdertail warmed to her. "Yeah. Yeah!" she mewed more happily, brightening, "Yeah, I think you're right." She smiled at Blazestrike.

"I'm sure you can meet some cats on the journey you'll like," Blazestrike said.

((Okay, we bascially just skipped over it actually...XD Cuz no one was on when we needed to respond. and stuff.))

Smokepaw shrugged to Stormbreeze. "No, we got our names, but we never actually got our mentors..." She turned to Skypaw. "I would love to have powers."

"Yeah, it would be pretty cool." Skypaw admitted, brightening for the first time in a long time.

[Helen [Let it Snow]]

"I really hope so," Powdertail admitted bashfully, "I really do." She purred happily at Blazestrike speaking to her for so long.

Blazestrike smiled. "Me too, you seem like a very good cat," she said.

"What would your power be?" she asked, interested.

[Lexi]

Blazestrike wondered where they would go after today.

"Something with water or storms!" Skypaw said, smiling.

She purred. "Something with smoke for me! Harmless smoke of course, I don't want to make you suffer!"

Skypaw laughed. "Now that would be mean!" she giggled.

She shivered. "Oh, yes , that would be!"

[Helen [Let it Snow]]

Powdertail purred happily. "Thank you," she mewed softly. "It means a lot to me." She now thought about where the rest of the journey would lead the cats.

Skypaw laughed.

Nightdawn woke up slowly, just finishing training in the dark fordest.

Stormfeather woke up from his shared dream with his sister.

Seaflame twitched his ears, waking up quickly. His dream had ended, and he had been suspended in darkness, before he woke. He scrambled backwards, pushing himself up against the grimy alley-way walls, not realizing it wasn't a dream.

Stormfeather saw Seaflame and padded over to him "you uh, alright?" he asked

Seaflame bared his teeth, hissing. Suddenly realizing what he did, he looked at Stormfeather in shock. "Uh, sorry, I...I'm fine. Bad dream is all."

Stormfeather flinched back at first, then padded forward and touched him with his nose. "its alright.I understand why you had a nightmare. its about your power isnt it?"

[Catfish :D]

Seaflame shook his head. "No, something else. Something...uh, um...different." His eyes flashed with an unknown emotion when he saw Stormfeather flinch. "I don't have a power. I don't know what you're talking about."

Stormfeather gave him a look, but let the matter slide for now "alright then. you hungry? we could-" he paused, a flash of pain in his eyes "go hunting"

Smokepaw yawned. "I think I'll go hunt now." she padded over to Stormfeather. "You strong enough to hunt?"

Seaflame shook his head, acting like himself again. "I'm fine. But it doesn't look like you are. Are you...hurt?"

Blazestrike laughed. "No problem, makes you feel happy when you help a friend."

Nightdawn padded over to Stormbreeze. "Want to go hunting while we stop here?"

Stormbreeze meowed,"sure Nightdawn" He then saw a squirrel biting onto a nut and smelled a rabbit not to far from them.

[Lexi]

Blazestrike smiled at Powdertail a last time. "I'll be right back," she said, apologetically. She padded up to Nightdawn and Stormbreeze. "Would you also get some herbs for me?" she asked. "You never know where the journey will lead you."

Nightdawn sniffed at Blazestrike. "I don't know what they look like." he replied.

[Lexi]

Blazestrike sighed. "Do you, Stormbreeze?"

Stormbreeze asked, "travel herbs? Er... I think they are mixed with other herbs... Yeah I think I can find them." He quickly dashed to nearby plants and searched for the herbs he needed. As he returned he spotted a rabbit and he then set down the herbs and killed the rabbit swiftly. He then headed back with the herbs and rabbit.

Nightdawn nodded slowly. "Nice catch." he said.

Smokepaw went off to hunt.

Blazestrike sat down and watched them go then stood up and padded back to the group.

Skypaw, back to her quiet and sad self, padded off alone to hunt. She reached a small fountain and peered in it.
"Fish!" she exclaimed. "Finally!" she leapt up on the fountain edge and poised herself, ready to catch them.



Rani yawned, rolling over and waking up. Then she sat straight up, blinking her bright eyes. "Good morning everyone!"
