One Book/One Community - A Great Program for Authors!

My novel, "A Day of Small Beginnings" (Little, Brown 2006) was chosen to inaugurate Chicago's Spertus Institute One Book/One Community program this fall. After 5 years, this was quite a surprise and I'm pretty thrilled. They've invited me to come speak, but also scheduled people to discuss Jewish storytelling, papercutting, modern dance - all elements in the book - and created a resource guide for book groups. It's a fantastic idea to promote in your own communities if you can.
