At first I was kind of hesitant about this book since the story seems to drag on, though I really want to see the series will end as well.

The very beginning of the book was a little hard for me to get back into but after a bit the story really started to take off. You see some of the characters in a different light and are also introduced to some new ones.

(view spoiler)[Lenobia and Travis seem really interesting in the story so far, makes me wonder if he might end up being a fledgling later or something O.o.

Then there's Aurox (spelling?). I really hope that's not going to turn out to be another love triangle... and it end up being between Zoey, Aurox, and Stark. That could be interesting, but the love triangles with Zoey can get annoying.

Is anyone else thinking Kalona may turn out to be a good guy? He sure seems like he could be at some point. (hide spoiler)]

I'm still reading the book, but I'm almost done with it.

So, I finished Destined and I have to say that book is by far one of the best books in the series in my opinion. It didn't feel like I was reading the same stuff all over again. The ending was an enormous surprise and left me dying to read the next book in the series. Unfortunately the next book doesn't come out until August... talk about a long wait lol.

(view spoiler)[Was anyone else totally surprised by Kalona's actions at the end of the book? I somewhat expected him to turn good, but to become a warrior for Death was a complete shock.

Dragon dying at the end really sucked but it also made sense. I would have preferred to see him stay alive and protect Rephaim or something instead.

I would have liked to see the story have a bit more of Stark and Zoey stuff going on, but it was nice to see everything else go on too. But Zoey wanting to protect Heath is just annoying considering she hasn't even told anyone that Aurox (spelling?) is really Heath. (hide spoiler)]

Ummm I love the p.c books and I ordered the destine copy yesterday. I hope it is as exiting as the other ones I read can't wait for destined.

Destined was really good in my opinion. If you're that big of a fan of the House of Night series then you will probably like Destined a lot.
