☯Emily Ginder | 19098 comments Just finished the book. I had read the book five years ago and wouldn't have remember any of the stories if I hadn't seen the PBS production of "The Blue Geranium." None of the stories were really memorable, though I enjoyed "The Companion" and "Death by Drowning."

PBW is one channel I would live to have for the mystery series and historical middle age stuff, but I have never had it. My life is filled up with stuff no matter what I have or not. But would like a lot on that channel.

Well they got this one in and the librarian said when I went to pick it up," I was so surprised since these books are out dated" The Mysterious Affair at Styles (Hercule Poirot #1) by Agatha Christie I still did not get this months but orderd it from same library system but different library in other direction that has always gotten any book I needed. So still hoping I will get to do it and one I got before month's end.

I just picked mine up from the library too Karen. The audiobook I had only had one of the stories. :( I'm going to read one of the stories today.

Bee (morgaine620) Good evening everyone, I just finished "The 13 Problems" and enjoyed most of the stories very much. In contrast to most others "The blue Geranium" is not my most favourite or the one that stays in mind. I liked "Death at the Bungalow" a lot as it was an imagined crime which fell out of order of the other stories. And I thought "The companion" interesting as so many things happened by chance. It was nice to read a book with short stories as it gave me the chance to read one at a time. I enjoyed it thoroughly

I need to check in with library right now. want it.

Christina (christinalc) | 19 comments I finished last night. I enjoyed most of the stories, but I especially enjoyed the way the other characters interacted with Miss Marple throughout the book. She is charming, and it was fun to watch everyone react to her.

I agree, I'm one of the people that love Miss Marple.

Karen Am almost halfway. I am remembering that I have read it before. Maybe more than once because I am figuring out the answers so easily. I am also reading The Mysterious Affair at Styles (Hercule Poirot #1) by Agatha Christie Need to get January's ordered.

Karen I finished right at midnight last night. I had read this or had it on audio book prior since i recognized alot of the stories. Was fun to read again. several stood out in my mind. The four suspects. maybe i am dense, but which one actually did it. i got confused by Miss Marple lol. I like the Blue Geranium and remembered it had bee a favorite prior. The first story I recalled best and knew exactly the outcome.(Which is probably how it is with first of books-most likely.)the blood stained pavement was another i knew the outcome. I enjoyed this book, but enjoyed The Mysterious Affair at Styles (Hercule Poirot #1) by Agatha Christie so much better. i just like whole books better than short stories. though love Agatha no matter what.
