The author of the Assassin Chronicles, Brendan Carroll, has teamed up with D'Lani Elliott and produced the first book of a new series aimed at the younger readers of fantasy fiction. These new books will follow the adventures of the younger members of the Order of the Red Cross of Gold and will tell the tale from the point of view of the Apprentices to the Knights of the Council. The Journey Begins is book I with many more planned.
