Rodney Carlson (rodneycarlson) | 617 comments Yes, it is most fortunate that my dogs don't judge me!

For both of us.

I can over look that an occasional article of clothing gets chewed, and they can overlook that sometimes I'm an idiotic so and so...

I believe what she really means is that her pampered dogs have her well-trained.

CartoonistAndre | 725 comments "Rodney wrote:...I just don't look good in a bikini."

Don't sell yourself short, Rodney. The single piece swimsuits can be too constricting. So maybe it's the hot pink, it's just a little too attention-grabbing!

message 404: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Shiroff | 840 comments Jeesh, I don't know. Maybe we need to see Rodney in the pink bikini top to be sure.

message 405: by CartoonistAndre (new)

CartoonistAndre | 725 comments I'm not sure either but Hot Pink's not the ticket.

message 406: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Shiroff | 840 comments You have a preference for lime green. Cartoon?

message 407: by CartoonistAndre (last edited Jan 10, 2015 05:04PM) (new)

CartoonistAndre | 725 comments A slinky chartreuse would look outrageous on a good ol' boy like that one, but I have to say he pretty much nailed it with the hot pink. We can just thank GOD there wasn't a matching thong!

message 408: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Shiroff | 840 comments You're right. I mean, who doesn't look good in a slinky chartreuse? Ha!

Did anybody think I wouldn't read this: http://www.salon.com/2015/01/13/the_5...

I'm sure no one really cares that some sort of movie awards will be given out tomorrow night, but I did like this photo of an Oscar statuette, snorting coke (presumably off a public bathroom floor) that has been placed just yards away from where the ceremonies are taking place.

The artist is Plastic Jesus - http://www.plasticjesus.net/, aka "The Banksy of LA."

message 418: by CartoonistAndre (new)

CartoonistAndre | 725 comments No doubt that Plastic Jesus has attended previous ceremonies and spent some time in the loo.

At least my doctor knows exactly where the gallbladder is and he didn't ask me to swallow a camera like this poor woman:

Idiot! Oh, not you Lisa. Barbieri! I hope you're on the mend now. Not sure what a gallbladder attack is like but I'll bet it's right up there with kidney stones and diverticulitis, both of which I've had the pleasure of dancing with. Good luck and don't do any lines off the bathroom floor OK?

Those were great, Pseudo. Really playful and I always love those Bizzaro 'toons!

13 of 20. Honestly guessed at the artwork with most of them but recognized 3 or 4. Thanks.

I rocked the first 5 but only got 3 after that.

I got 16 of the covers. Two that I missed were choices between two books by the same author, where I just couldn't remember. But I admit I guessed a number, though it was partly a process of thinking what would fit. Hardest on a couple where I've read none of the options.

Attention Walmart shoppers!!!

In case you missed it, there is now this - description

Does Walmart sell insulin by the case?

Interesting. I'd change some slots in the 'formative' years but can identify with most pyramids. Only 2 stinkin' pills? I'm averaging a handful of 'supplements' and a couple of kicks in the old jacksy daily.

I seriously think that he was suspicious of the two-for-one brothers- "Buy Juan and get Juan free!". He seemed to be doing more thinking than talking, and responding with such tranquil patience in comparison to his usually boisterous nature. I think he spotted a price tag or a spot of Elmer's on one of those fake mustaches, and just played through. But... I could be wrong.

message 438: by Will (new)

Will Once (willonce) | 445 comments Maybe, maybe. He seemed to be taking it well from the first, when they were off screen making noises during the filming. All in all, his reputation led me to expect a stronger reaction.
