Yup, this about sums it up perfectly except throwing my kindle against the wall wouldn't have really given me the same satisfaction.
i couldn't believe what i read when Zane died. i was crying uncontrollably . it was sooo freaking sad how he was just trying to be his right self again for her and he DIES!also Scott said that he modified the book to his fans liking in his author's dedication but it looks like many people including myself hate the ending of his trilogy. couldnt u just have made Zane live peacefully with normal pretty Tally ?? why make things so complicated? x-(
I was sad when Zane died and thought it was tragic, and I agree with some people that Tally was quite horrible in the last book, but what I loved about the whole series was how realistic it was (for the world in which it was set). I thought it was really believable and all around great, including the ending, even though it wasn't the 'ideal' ending. Also, I loved Extras and Bogus to Bubbly - when Westerfeld is writing as himself I adore his style of writing =D
I really enjoyed the first book and I asw so much potential in the series then when I started reading the rest of them I had to force myself to finish reading them. Every single plot twist possible was thrown in. A lot of it wasn't neccesary. Maybe if I read the fourth book then I'd think better of the series but I couldn't physically make myself read that book when there are so many more worthwhile books to read. It just became a chore which hardly ever happens with me and books.
I was so, so, so sad at the ending. I cried so much when Zane died! I thought he and Tally were meant to be. He was one of my favorite characters: he was brave, resilient, strong, smart, curious, sweet, vulnerable, fierce…. WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE??
