SOLVED. Time Travel/Stonehenge [s]

Years ago I read a book about a scientist who was researching Stonehenge, He built a camera to travel into the past to take pictures of exactly why it was built. The paradox is/was, Stonehenge was built because they saw the camera! I thought it might be Harry Harrison's Technicolor Time Machine, but it isn't. Can anyone help?

The book "Timeline," by Michael Crichton sounds very similar to the book you're looking for. It's probably not the same because it doesn't contain Stonehenge as far as a I know. Maybe it can spark some more memories though!

Harry Harrison was right, anyway. It's his short story "The Secret of Stonehenge", which you can find in either of these collections: Stainless Steel Visions or Prime Number

Thank you Dylan. I thought I had the correct author but thought I was going bonkers and had imagined the whole story. Thanks for your all your help and suggestions.
