Mike, freaked out that West had died so instantaneously, ran away, far, far away, where he wouldn’t get killed by the ghosts that killed him and Bethany. He was about to go into the asylum when he felt another presence with him. Slowly, he turned, and saw Michelle. “Hi,” he said, relieved. “We’re an alliance, right?”

Henry frowned at Arabella, then spotted a bird flying in the air. He quickly notched his bow, and shot the bird cleanly in the eye. “Dinner,” he said. Glancing at Arabella, he said, “You’d also better hide the squirrel somewhere none can go to, ‘cuz we’re going to have to get a lot more animals to eat. Sequoia, since we don’t have targets, and don’t have the time to teach you how to skillfully use bow and arrows, I think we should first teach you how to use a knife to hunt. It will be just as effective, easier to learn, and it will prepare you for hunting-all the gory parts of it to. Your first kill won’t be easy.”

Mike quietly whispered to Michelle, “I’ve hunted animals before, but never people. I can’t kill, but I’ll try my best to help.” He slowly backed off in the opposite direction, and soon shadowed Andro and Amy. Finding his pouch of pebbles, he silently aimed a few pebbles at them, catching them by surprise.

Jewel walked out of her tent all sleepy eyed. That was when she heard the announcement. Yesssss she had been waiting for this she knew this Harry guy was in Michelle and Arabellas alliance she was going to enjoy this. She went over to Amy and Amy said that their alliance had been throwing stones at her. OOOOoooooo thay were SO dead now. Jewel walked over to where Amy had seen the pebble been thrown and parted the bushes and a group of people looked up at her astonished. "Which one of you is Harry?" a boy crouching next to Arabella raised his hand. "Well then Harry nice to meet you(Jewel extends her hand out and Harry shakes it) this may hurt a bit though" Jewel puts an iron grip on his hand and flips him through the air she lets him go and while he flies through the air she gives him a roundhouse kick to the jaw. "Told you it might hurt a bit."

Mike leaps back into the shadows, climbs a tree, and watches. He has climbed trees and concealed himself completely plenty of times, and has no worries for himself. But what about Michelle? Would she be ok? And the guy with the knife that he hit just a bit, a tiny bit, but still a bit too hard. Will he be ok? Hopefully. If the situations where different, and they weren’t in the hunger games, they could have been friends. He gasped. The hunger games! His friends. His friends and family are going to watch him in this death game! “I can’t kill, though,” he whispered to himself. “That would be murder.”

Henry, nodding his thanks to Arabella, looks up and spots a squirrel, running along the rough lines of the tree bark. He took aim, and shot the squirrel in the eye. Scanning the mass of tree trunks, he saw another squirrel, close to Sequoia. “Sequoia. Get the squirrel! Now, while it is unaware of you!” He ran onto the opposing tree trunk and took the arrow out to the squirrel’s eye that he had shot. Cleaning the arrow, he stuck it back in his arrow pouch.

The three tributes all wake up in different rooms. Each of them finds in their own time that their arms and legs are strapped to the cold metal tables they're lying on.
"What's going on?" one of the tributes moans, his head aching.
In the first room a doctor comes in wearing full body outfit that covers everything except his eyes which are a steely grey. He pulls out a scalpel. "You have some heart problems" his voice is scratchy and cold as ice. "Don't worry, we'll fix them right up."
Mike struggles and thrashes against the table.
"Wait!" he yells just before the doctor/surgeon makes the first incision. "What about anistetic! You can't operate on me while I'm awake!"
The doctor just grins and starts cutting him open.
Mike struggles, screaming in agony as the doctor opens up his chest so his heart is visible. Mike looks down and feels like throwing up, watching his heart beat in the cavity of his chest around mangled skin. He faints clean away and the doctor stabs him in the heart with the scalpel and goes to 'operate' on the next patient.

The squirrel in questions was sniffing around the bottom of the tree. Sequioa snuck around keeping quiet like she was taught.She was behind it. Sequioa waited for a good moment and leapt, her knife finding its neck. It tried to scurry away, but she had injured it to much. It twiched and was still, a pool of blood forming aroud the wood. At first she was elated that she had accomplished something. Then she felt terrible for killing a living thing. Then her stomach rumbled and she knew she did what she had to.

Another tribute wakes up on a cold metal table and fear fills their heart.
The doctor enters the room with the scalpel and slices open the tribute's stomach.
William yells out in fright and watches in horror as the doctor removes his organs one by one. He feels like an empty shell by the time the doctor is done. he dies in extreme pain.

Arrabella is next. The doctor removes her eyes and swallows them, then pours salt into the open wound and leaves her to burn. then he pours battery acid down her throat and watches her spasm and go still.
