Ooh, you play the piano? *high fives* So do I! What's your favorite type of music to play? How long have you been playing?

New friends are quite nice!
Awh, you have me beat. I started playing when I was 5. Hmm. I like playing soundtrack music and video game theme music, but most of the time I play classical. My favorite composer is probably Bach.

Yeah, my mother has a full set of recorders, and it's only in the last couple of years that I've been able to play her tenor and bass recorders. They're the most fun to play, though, I think.
Exactly. That said, I've hardly had time to play my guitar over the last couple of weeks >.< Unless I'm playing with the guitar orchestra, I haven't been playing it during the week half as much as I should be >.<

Also, I'm hopelessly clumsy, and absolutely the kind of girl that will trip over an instrument, even though it's in the middle of the floor and six foot tall. Oh dear.
I used to play the recorder too! *high-five* I took it quite seriously for about four years in primary school, even though I only had a treble recorder. We moved out of our house for about a year and it got put into storage, and it sadly never re-emerged D: These days, since I've been learning the double bass, I've played the basso continuo for a baroque recorder ensemble, which is huge fun. I've discovered some entirely awesome new composers and pieces through it, so.
I suppose not. But then, on the other hand, I don't want to spread myself too thinly, if that makes sense? I'd rather just work hard at the instruments I'm studying seriously and just keep the piano as something for fun, you know, like, I can spend all afternoon playing it and then not go near it for two weeks, but if I did that with the guitar or bass I would just be totally consumed by guilt.
Whoah, that post was far longer than I thought it was going to be O.o Sorry.
