I find it funny how much their lyrics vary in quality... Like, they have beautiful lyrics like in Little Things, but they also have some that are just dumb, too.

Yeah, I think it depends on who wrote the lyrics, what they're trying to get across with the song, what the mood is supposed to be, etc. And Rock Me is supposed to be one of those songs that picks you up and makes you, um, well, yeah. xD

T Swizzle's new album is just...so not her. I like her country/soft rock sound. Most of the songs on "Speak Now" are just...they tear at my heart strings, even though I've never been in a relationship nor broken up.

I like the way she's played with a lot of different styles and sounds. And her lyrics are still ridiculously easy to relate to.

She has certainly been experimental, which is good. (Hans Zimmer fanboy here.) Yet I think a total genre shift was not very good. It just made me lose a lot of confidence that I'll like her future music. Because "Begin Again" is the only song on that album I like so far.
