Now that Dreamworks has optioned to make a movie of the series, I thought it would be fun to pick actors for each role. Who do you think would be dynamite?

I'll start it off. I've just come off an all-day marathon of "Being Human", the American version and couldn't help comparing it to Fever, because it has a similar feel. Barrons - Sam Witwer who currently plays as Aiden on series. Pix: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1022429/re...
Mac - Kristen Hager plays Nora on "Being Human" Pix: http://tiny.cc/0fhmo
well i like these guys for christian or the UK (either one ´cause i cant remember the right eye colour!)
- Peter Mooney (HBO,CAMELOT,KAY)
- Ian Somerhalder
- Jason Lewis (HAWT!)
and for Ryordan i like Olivier Martinez in Blood and Chocolate...

Woohoo!! thanks for the update! :) yah.. Mark Salling would be good for that. But he needs to bulk up a little for the part.I've never considered "being human" and the fae Series to have the same feel myself. Gosh, never even close. I considered "Being Human" to be a semi-comedy of sorts.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1022429/re... <-- This would be similar to what Barron's would need to look like in the movie. Because Barrons always was dressed to the T, nothing out of place. Sam Witwer looks great, but do you think he has a "worldly mystery of living ages" look to him enough for Barrons?
I was thinking maybe:http://www.imdb.com/media/rm333471385...
Sean Bean he's worldly and dignifying, and looks great in leather, in addition he can swing a sword, and I'm sure he could get a facelift for the part.
His bering and countenance are what's really the factors for me. He carry's himself, like he knows he's the best there is. ( not in a bad conceited way just in a worldly way) And we we could cross him with Sir Anthony Hopkins in speech pattern, I think we'd have a definably winner.
In the book Barrons is so very intense all the time, and when he speaks, it's with authority and specifically every word counts. Anthony Hopkins is like that, if you've ever heard him speak, he has a command of the English language that is unbelievable, even when no one is writing the words for him. So perhaps we could ask him to Tutor Sean in Speech pattern. Or,
How about:
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm519748864...
Gerald Butler, or even Russel Crow? <-- either would be really good. Gerald Butler can get that "Crazy Look" in his eyes..something about his eyes that when he gives a look, it's like ohoh, trouble's coming.
Whoever play's Barrons will need that look about him.
I didn't know about the IMD, thanks for sharing a great resource Andrea :)
lol, Elaine! I see you have given a lot of thought to this! Yowza, Sam Witmer looks perfect except a little young maybe. I'm not in favor of Gerald Butler or Russell Crow for Barrons. Something just a little too rough, I think. Barrons is always impeccably smooth despite being so menacing. And so tortured in the last book.I'm glad I introduced you to such a valuable mine of information! I go to IMDb all the time when I'm trying to remember who played so and so, or even specific lines from movies or TV shows. And of course it's a treasure trove for looking at an actor's whole career with pictures! Like you, I go there for something specific and get caught up for several minutes browsing.
I have really nice Baron candidates:1. Oded Fehr http://www.imdb.com/media/rm176884940...
2. Sergio Peris Mencheta
Both are nice...

I have to agree with you on this .. VERY good choice ...
Lol good picks y'all I have never been good at picking actors and actresses to portray the characters in the books I love .
Not to many fans talking about casting Mac! I would like Julianne Hough, Claire Holt or Brittany Snow. http://www.imdb.com/media/rm305717171...
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm237343744...
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm165416268...
Someone above mentioned Katherine Heigel, yuck! She's too old and already ruined Stephanie Plum...

Yes, I like Sam Witwer for Barrons and Jason Lewis for Vlane. IMO... I think the Fever books would be better as an HBO or Showtime series than movies. Too much gets left out of books when they are made into 2 hour movies.

Julianne Hough, now that is a yuck. She is like nails on a chalkboard. The other 2, eh. I love http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3592338/?r.... I am sure there are a lot of others that would fit the role. I keep thinking of the current kick ass heroines. I'm trying to think of someone with a fresh face.

LOVE of Emilia Clark on Game of Thrones! It has to be someone who can really do action scenes:)
I just started watching Falling Skies and was introduced to Sarah Carter. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0141931/?r... Just in case Emilia Clark doesn't make it =)
David Gandy would be hot in anything. I'm insanely into that man.I kinda like your suggestions for Mac but it's hard for me to get excited about her. She annoyed me so much in the books. I could never figure out what Barrons saw in her.
