dunno, my dog was hit by a car tonight - he's at the hospital right now - I couldn't sit there feeling useless :(

[Natalie]

Oh, no! I'll say some prayers he's okay.

Geez Dee, sorry about that:( Hope it gets better soon! I can imagine how upset and sad you are*hugs*

the vet seemed to think he would be - they are keeping him overnight at the emergency one and then i'm going to call his vet in the am and see what they recommend

How's he doing today, Dee?

he was in surgery today - I just spoke to the doc, she fixed the leg - it was a compound fracture; he's going to be there at least another day, maybe 2, and then is going to be crated for the next 6 weeks

Sorry that I missed this event. I was caught in the bad storm here in Massachusetts. Just got my power back yesterday. Got lots of "mail" to go through. Keep all the hundreds of thousands still without power.

Now I just have the fun of all the clean up of the debris that was left behind. I have to be thankful that I didn't get it worse than it was. I hope your friends will be up soon. We've been having some awfully cold nights lately.

Yeah, we have a bunch of limbs to clean up, too. I hope that's what you're referring to and it's not a lot worse than that! Good luck with it.

Luckily, she has a pellet stove, but I feel for anyone who doesn't have an alternate heating option.
