Yeah I agree, in order to stay a part of Clary's world he really needed to become a vampire. There are some downsides to it but he is a lot more yummy now :)

I definitely agree with you about being connected to Clary. However, Maia isn't immortal. Werewolves still die, which sucks! Poor Simon. If only he was the gay one. Bahaha!

I'm not sad that he's a vampire but I am sad that he will live forever and watch Clary and all his other friends die... unless Clary turns into a vampire or something

I was sad for Simon too. But I love how it affected him. He matured and became really attractive. I'm so happy for him for getting over Clary. Simon is so awesome! It's really a good thing that Cassie Clare is going to continued The Mortal Instruments series where Simon plays a big role.:)

I was kind of sad. I love Simon so it is awesome that he will live forever and is powerful now but sad that he will watch Clary get old and die. She is his very best friend so I know that will be very difficult for him. Same with Isabelle unless he finds a vampire girlfriend.
