The Son of Neptune

Piper or Reyna ? Who should Jason choose?
But that was about 70 years ago! And what about Frank?

Reyna is NOT shallow!!!And how is Piper not self-centered?

I don't really think Piper would ever take to Leo.But, unfortunately(and i mean unfortunately), i think jason feels sorry for piper BECAUSE she was tricked by the mist.

Ahem. Piper is NOT cool. And Reyna is. Besides, Piper/Leo may not fit very well, but...Reyna/Leo is just UNTHINKABLE. And seriously. Reyna CAN'T end up single. She's just too important. And Piper isn't strong. Just saying.

.Frank and Hazel
.Percy and Annabeth
.Piper and Jason
.Leo= too annoying to get a girlfriend
.Reyna= too selfish and annoying
i think that it'll be piper and jason and wait for it(it's pretty weird), leo and Reyna, because at the beginning Annabeth and Percy didn't like each other, look where it got them. so leo's like percy (sort of) and reyna is like annabeth( only metaphorically, they are both tough, but annabeth is waaaaaaaaaaaaay cooler) that's my theory;) and i know it's a bit insane, but i am insane:)

...so, is it still delusional that Leo and Reyna will end up together? i mean i'm not saying it will happen, but it could. but the main point is that Piper and Jason(in my opinion) will end up together.either way it's up to Rick Riordan:)

The books show clues to that...
I dont know 4 sure but i think that's it:)

Im not goin 4 any1 but how is piper a brat???????????

So when they were on the quest, I really tried liking her and observing her development and I'm not happy to say that she didn't (in my opinion) developed that much.
Personally, I think the flaws of a person makes that character more real. For example: Drew. She is mean, a flirt and a bully but don't we all have people like her in our lives? Then there's Octavian. He's more of like the antagonist but don't we all have a person like him that we encounter? There's also Rachel coming in between Percy and Annabeth. Then, there's Annabeth's pride and jealousy of Rachel (in the earlier books). But that's what makes them unique.
It's just that with Piper, I can't seem to find anything like those. Sure, her dad ignores her, she hates make-up and is like a tomboy, she gets kicked-out of school and is bullied by Drew, but what is her own flaw that makes her a 3D character?
I was just wondering. I don't mean to offend anyone. Plus, (for me only) she seems to be a bit clingy to Jason and I kind of don't like how she can suddenly 'charm speak' Jason to wake up without practicing with it at all. (For me) It's bad enough that she's overwhelmingly pretty and a bad-ass at the same time but making her have all those 'neat' powers without practicing in camp makes it a bit worse.
I mean I would love and adore her if I read the book when I'm around 9 or 10 but now that I'm five months away from being thirteen, I just can't can't seem to have a fandom of her. She's just flat, in my opinion.
I can't find anything else to make her realistic.
She's a bit too perfect, for me. And judging just from the Lightning Thief, her character is cheap and flat compared to Annabeth's, Percy's and Grover's. I'm sorry I had to write it but I'm merely expressing my own opinion.
Reyna, on the other hand, has things to make her interesting. Yes, she is strict, stiff and somewhat cold to others but that's what makes her mysterious and makes me want to see what's behind all that. She's strong but has a reason to be strong. She had a bad past and is willing to protect her home. She acts like she doesn't care but is willing to give things up for the legion. She's more of the type that I would want to read more about. It just makes me curious. She acts for her people and not only for her sake. It makes her somewhat like Annabeth, Rachel and Thalia: 3D characters.
If you're wondering why I'd say Rachel is a 3d character, I have several reasons:
1. She has a dad she doesn't like because of what he does, yet is willing to face his conditions for her friends.
2. Just as what Percy said, she's brave like Annabeth, only in another way.
3. She wasn't exactly described much physically but rather how she acts which makes me like her. It's more of about liking her because of all the dialogues and movement but not because of what other people think about her.
4. Despite the two stated above, she has flaws that makes her more realistic.
Same goes with Thalia and Annabeth.
Anyway, Piper is ok (even though for me, she's a flat character), and I'm interested in Reyna's character. I'd pick Reyna over Piper.
Reyna is the leader who's more like willing to make herself look bad for the sake of all. She's like willing to sacrifice her wants to satisfy others. It's just my opinion.
And if I was asked to pick who is better off with Jason, then it's Reyna for me.
Yes, they may not have been a couple but they may want to be. Besides, if Reyna is worried about Jason and is glad to have him back, there must have been more that a simple crush there to the point that she's willing to delay the elections.
Besides, we only heard it from Reyna's view. Who knows, Jason may have planned for them to be closer since his feelings may have been strong?
Anyway, I'd pick Jason/Reyna, and if it becomes Jason/Piper in the book, then I also have no objection. After all, I don't read the series for the sake of romance. I read it because of its substance.
Thanks anyways! The things stated above are all my own opinion. I don't mean to hurt anyone. I apologize in advance.
Thanks!

But Reyna and Jason all the way for me! =))))

I just never liked Piper's character. "Hi, I'm gorgeous and my dad's a movie star and I'm obsessed with some guy I thought I knew but I really didn't. Oh and did I mention I can convince you to do anything?" She just seems too perfect. People argue that reyna is too stiff and serious but everything said about her is said through someone else's point of view, so we don't know what she's really like.
But I have to admit the most likely couple is Jason/Piper. Sadly.

It depends though if Rick Riordan would consider whatever happened between Reyna and Jason but if he'll only focus on what happened after Hera took away Jason's memory then I'd agree with you.

We don't know about that. Sure, maybe Jason and Reyna weren't in a relationship, but that doesn't mean that they haven't been through anything together. We just don't know because Jason barely regained his memory in The Lost Hero, and everything about Reyna was told in another's POV, so we don't know what really happened before.

We don't know what Reyna is really like. She is described from Percy's point of view, not her own, so she's still keeping up the image of the confident leader. So for all we know, she could not be serious.
Jason's memory started returning in the end of The Lost Hero, so we also wouldn't know exactly what he felt for Reyna. But if he didn't like her in that way, why would the memory of her make him reconsider what he was doing with Piper?
Just because Reyna isn't one of the seven doesn't mean she can't be with someone who IS. There's no rule. Who says all of the seven demigods must be with another demigod of the seven?

I don't see how Leo is anything like Percy. I always compared JASON to Percy.
I thnk Leo will at least have a crush on reyna, because he tends to fall in love with girls who are way out of his league.
But it's a little more unlikely that REYNA will fall for LEO. I just can't imagine that.

.Frank and Hazel
.Percy and Annabeth
.Piper and Jason
.Leo= too annoying to get a girlfriend
.Reyna= too selfish and annoying"
Leo is so not annoying. he's just funny.
Also, Reyna is so not selfish or annoying. She's just stressed out. Think. The fate of Camp Jupiter rests on her shoulders. She doesn't have anyone to help her.

I agree with you. =))) I mean, if he really likes Piper, then his feelings for Reyna should also be strong considering that he is rethinking over his feelings for someone who he have strong feelings for. =))

ya, ur rite, i dont like them both so we can just put them together:)

true...she never really did anything annoying, it's just that she seems too..secretive, and cold

Agreed fullheartedly.
