Evan stayed standing in his position and said to her dad,"You do realize that you could be arrested for child abuse, no?"

"You better not say a word! Leave or watch your lover here get killed," he seethed.
Evan glared at him, he could feel his anger flare,"She will not die!"
"She'll be damn close to it, though!" he said.
"Evan," Rommie said fearfully.
Evan ignored her,"If you want to hurt her, you're going to have to get through me."
"Please," she pleaded in his ear.
Evan lightly pt his hand on her shoulder and whispered,"Trust me Rommie..."
Her dad pushed him aside like a curtain and yanked Rommie towards the middle of the room by her hair. She cried out in pain as he threw her on the floor.
"Rommie!" he cried and jumped onto her Dad's back, knocking him over.
He cursed and flung him off to the opposite wall. He kicked Rommie and she cried out in pain.
Evan grunted and hopped to his feet. He thought for a moment, then grabbed something hard off of Rommie's shelf.
Her father quickly took her and held a knife to her neck. "Do it and your girlfriend's dead!"
"Never," he said.
Before he could even blink, Evan let go of the rock and hit her dad straight in his forehead, he fell to the ground. Evan quickly ran across the room, picked up Rommie and ran out of the house.
The knife slit across Rommie's throat slightly before her dad collapsed on the ground.
Evan ran all the way back to his apartment. When he got there, he carefully set Rommie down on his own bed,"Rommie?"
She didn't answer. She was unconscious.
He ran a his hand down her bruised face. He left her side to get a bag of ice. He came back and placed it on her forehead.
She didn't come around until about 10 minutes later when her eyes fluttered open.
She looked to him. "Where...where am I?"
She looked around and rubbed her throat. Her hand wasn't bloody. He must have cleaned it.
"Are you okay? Does anything hurt?" he asked.
"Everything..." she moaned.
She smiled slightly
"In that case...I'm not a very good doctor..."
"Its fine."
Evan smiled a little,"Well then. Do you want anything? Need anything?"
She shook her head.
((i gtg))She fell asleep.
((AAAAAAAAAAAAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!))Evan yawned, he climbed into his bed next to her and stared at the ceiling.
((but im back now!))She didn't toss or turn.
((YAY!!!!!!!!))Evan fell asleep a few minutes later.
She dreamt of her dad killing her and she woke with a scream.
Evan got up and looked at her. He saw her shaking and he sat up and pulled her into his arms, rubbing his hand down her back,"It's okay Rommie...Shhh..."
She trembled in his arms. "I thought my dad was killing me.."
"It's only a dream," he said,"Just calm down..." he kissed the top of her head.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged herself closer to him.
Evan hugged her, and rubbed her back.
She soon fell asleep again.
