I review all kinds of YA literature (as well as some Middle Grade if I feel that it has appeal for older readers).

I've got a new blog => http://www.amyheugh.com
Check it out and take the YA readers survey. (I want to see into your brain)
I thank you all!

For any bloggers interested I have an upcoming blog tour. Please sign up. Thanks.
http://www.lolasblogtours.net/blog-to...

I'm opening up my publishing blog (see www.ivymoon-press.co.uk) for a couple of months and am looking for some good quality authors to guest.
I don't mind ficton, poetry or non-fiction - the publishing industry isn't discriminative, so why should I be?
I'd also be happy to hear from book designers and freelance editors who have a tale to tell.
If you fit the description and have a new book coming up or want some free publicity generally, then please get in touch.
I'll try and include everyone but can't promise publishing all posts.
Ideally, the format would be between 500 and 750 words on any subject to do with publishing - eg, the experience, the trials and tribulations, the highs, failures and successes on any part of the journey. Happy to include all links and write an intro piece about the author.
To get in touch, just send me an email: info@ivymoon-press.co.uk or leave a comment below.
Best wishes
Sara Bain

I write blogs about the craft of writing. Currently, I am in the process of detailing and sharing my experiences re-writing my first book. What I've learned, what I've changed, and how reading has improved my own prose.
Also, I share free short stories and will from time to time promote whatever project I'm working on.
Feel free to stop by!

•Your name
•Your story or excerpt (750 words or less…less is better) pasted in the body of the email (Sorry, but I’m not opening attachments. I’m dreadfully afraid of viruses)
•Title the subject line with the word “Submission” followed by the title of your story. Like this: “Submission: Godzilla vs. Batman”
I will be responding to all submissions and I will let you know if your story has been selected. All genres are welcome, but the focus will be on the literary merit of each piece. If I decide to feature your story, I will also include a short write up with bio information and a brief critique, a great opportunity for anyone looking to increase their visibility.
So, what are waiting for? Send your story to ejamesolson1@gmail.com and check in later this week when I announce the first title to be critiqued on Writing as Art. I look forward to hearing from you!
