I cannot wait to read the second one! But, I have the memory of a goldfish, so really had to read the first one again. The imagery is so beautiful. I love the way she writes. How are you finding DOSAB so far? :)

I had to re-read Smoke and Bone too before the new one :) It's one of my favorite books.

message 3317: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer (stillyaspiemom) I just finished Matched (Matched, #1) by Ally Condie which I have to admit I struggled through... and I've been slowly reading The Mists of Avalon (The Mists of Avalon, #1) by Marion Zimmer Bradley which I love but it's a BIG book. I'm actually looking for another good book to read. I don't know if I'm really wanting to read Crossed (Matched, #2) by Ally Condie or not... ANY IDEAS?

I haven't read them yet, but I can recommend you some if you want?

Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #1) by Laini Taylor is really good.
I am reading Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer , wich is incredibly cool so far.

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green is an amazing book to, allthough it doesn't have any paranormal things in it. Defenitly worth reading.

I'm finding it absolutely amazing. I totally agree with your co-workers! But because I watched the show first, my judgement is clouded by it, but it's still amazing, and they kept all the important parts in the show.

message 3327: by Aoibhínn (new)

Aoibhínn (aoibhinn) I finished reading Like Dandelion Dust by Karen Kingsbury by Karen Kingsbury last night and I really disappointed with it. The plot was very predictable, irritatingly repetitive, contrived and not very well-written. The concept of the story was interesting but the author is not a good enough writer to pull it off. This novel was simply too formulaic, too sweet, too predictable, too simplistic, too everything I don't like. The entire novel had that 'la-la-land' feel to it.
My full review is here: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

Today I've started reading The Tenderness Of Wolves by Stef Penney by Stef Penney.

Bee (justabluebee) Oh god, Easy by Tammara Webber is going to mess me up just like The Fault in Our Stars by John Green did a few weeks ago. Damn and to think that I would have never even know these books if it weren't for this site. Most books I'm reading these days aren't translated in dutch (I'm from Belgium). Good thing my English is pretty good. Can't imagine what I would have missed out on if I didn't knew Goodreads.

~Thena~ (athena-nadine) | 184 comments I'm up to chapter 6 in Second Grave on the Left (Charley Davidson, #2) by Darynda Jones . I'm still bothered by the way the relationship between Charley and Reyes developed in the first book, and his behavior isn't any better so far, so I don't like Reyes much at the moment. I know a lot of people love him, but I still don't get the attraction. (view spoiler). The only thing keeping me going with those series is that I mostly like Charley, love Cookie, and already own all four books. At least they're fast reads.

message 3341: by Bee (new)

Bee (justabluebee) Finished Easy by Tammara Webber . Not that anybody cares about my opinion and all, but my review on this book is also done, so. Yeah okay, nobody reads it anyway.

I'm starting with Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer again.
