It's pretty much the same for most books, though, isn't it?

Lol I have
sitting on my shelf also but I'm too scared to read it. I might just give the book away to a friend that wanted it lol.

I am reading
, and it is pretty darn good, though it's kind of long. I also read
, and i pretty much like the style of this one. would be glad to receive suggestions with similar books :)
I am currently reading The goblin Massacre by Michael J. Schneider. It is currently free on Amazon. It is listed as an Adult Dystopian book, but I could not find it here on goodreads yet. Then I plan on reading The Pineville Heist by Lee Chambers
It is also free today on Amazon and is listed as a young adult, fun, lighthearted Mystery novella. I thought I might need something light after the first book.

"Believe it or not, I only bought Blood Red Road after seeing Moira Young at a writer's convention in Portland back in November I think it was. I liked her and how she described the book and answered the panel questions. I bought Lauren Oliver's Delirium for a similar reason though I'd heard of her book before and knew it was a huge bestseller. Ditto with Jennifer Eagan, Lindsey Leavitt, Chelsea Cain and eventually Kimberly Derting. Since then, I've heard nothing but great things and I think Ridley Scott bought film rights???

I heard about her at the writer's convention and it made me like her even more. I've always wanted to go to one but anyways.... Blood Red Road is awesome and I can't wait for the next book! It would be awesome if it's true that there's talk about a movie.

. I also find
to be quite amusing. One of my personal favorites is
. Give it a try if you haven't already:)
News Flash for Laura Dohner New Species Fans......
is released on B&N & Amazon today April 10th and on Ellora's Cave tomorrow April 11th
I am in a reading slump - can't seem to get hooked on anything right now - and it isn't the author, it is me. What's up with that? :)
Kayden wrote: "I am in a reading slump - can't seem to get hooked on anything right now - and it isn't the author, it is me. What's up with that? :)"That happens to me sometimes, usually after I finish a good series.
What I do is to find shorts. (less then 10,000 words) either off smashword or amazon until I'm ready for more.

I didn't cry at all. Before I Die is actually the saddest book. I recommend it.

I just read the best novella by Ilona Andrews. Magic Dreams in the anhology Hexed. It wasn't a Kate Daniel's story, but it was set in that world with a white weretiger named Dali, and Kate's ex-partner Jim. It was so much fun, and it had enough going on in it it could've been a novel!

oh I am on the waiting list for this book. I don't want to read a review yet, but I really hope it's a good one.
I used to love the 'old' Anne Rice books, but when she stepped away from the paranormal fantasy, I dropped her like a hot potato.
I am hoping that she has returned to her former dark fantasy work.
