♥ Ashleigh ♥ Contrary to popular belief I'm not actually mad! (cheshire_red) | 86 comments Recently finished Opposition (Lux, #5) by Jennifer L. Armentrout we started off rocky but I quickly decided I loved this book after all and it was amazing. Now I'm sad the series is over :(

I had a bit of a book hangover so I've been putting off Shadows (Lux, #0.5) by Jennifer L. Armentrout because I miss Kat & Daemon, even though Dawson is a cool guy he's not K & D.

I'm also listening to Hex and the City (Nightside, #4) by Simon R. Green which so far has been good, if a little repetitive in certain areas.

♥ Ashleigh ♥ Contrary to popular belief I'm not actually mad! (cheshire_red) | 86 comments so I'm not really sure what happened but I'm now currently reading/listening to 3 books!! which I generally don't do.

Shadows (Lux, #0.5) by Jennifer L. Armentrout Hex and the City (Nightside, #4) by Simon R. Green The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black

And I have to say I'm really liking Coldtown. I have no idea who the narrator is but boy is she talented! She's totally making this book, plus I'll admit I adore the main character, she so realistic and yeah it drives me a little nuts but overall I like her more for it.

♥ Ashleigh ♥ Contrary to popular belief I'm not actually mad! (cheshire_red) | 86 comments Totally forgot I was listening to Hex and the City (Nightside, #4) by Simon R. Green . Instead I started listening to The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black which was surprisingly good, I was bummed to find out it was a stand alone, I'd love more books with these characters. The narrator did a wonderful job.

I also finished Heart of Steel (Iron Seas, #2) by Meljean Brook IMO better than the first, but the third one looks a little cringy - based off the sample I read, so I'm going to put it off for a while.
And read Truthwitch (The Witchlands, #1) by Susan Dennard not as good as I had hoped but not bad at all, I'll def be reading book 2. Love the characters, and I loved how the two MC's were both females and besties <3

So now I'll either go back to Nightside or When Demons Walk (Sianim, #3) by Patricia Briggs except it's been a while so I wouldn't mind re-reading the series except I don't appear to have Steal the Dragon which is annoying.

♥ Ashleigh ♥ Contrary to popular belief I'm not actually mad! (cheshire_red) | 86 comments Re-read Masques (Sianim, #1 / Aralorn, #1) by Patricia Briggs Wolfsbane (Sianim, #4 / Aralorn, #2) by Patricia Briggs both were really good. I also read Nevernight (The Nevernight Chronicle, #1) by Jay Kristoff , it was a bit eh at the beginning... interesting but also confusing, a few chapters in and I was loving it. Devoured the thing as fast as i could.

Now I've started re-reading Steal the Dragon (Sianim, #2) by Patricia Briggs today, so far rather enjoying it. Looking forward to reading When Demons Walk (Sianim, #3) by Patricia Briggs next.

♥ Ashleigh ♥ Contrary to popular belief I'm not actually mad! (cheshire_red) | 86 comments So it's been a while sinc I've updated and I'm sure I've missed a few books. But anyways I've recently finished:
India Black (Madam of Espionage, #1) by Carol K. Carr REALLY enjoyed this book, was an absolute blast.
The Diabolical Miss Hyde (Electric Empire, #1) by Viola Carr Not as good as India Black but still quite enjoyable.
The Ghost Bride by Yangsze Choo The main character was a complete moron, but there was some good moments to the book. Was a pretty big fan of the writing.
Crooked Kingdom (Six of Crows, #2) by Leigh Bardugo LOVED LOVED LOVED

Currently reading:
Breath Of Earth (Breath of Earth, #1) by Beth Cato Only just started, seems alright so far.
