I've given up on Three Gentlemen of Verona: The Lovelife of London Society - Gianni Ventura (just couldn't understand it.) So now I am reading Escaping Reality - Lisa Renee Jones.

On her release day Tessa Dawn's Bookhttp://www.amazon.com/Blood-Redemptio...
Hit # 1 in Dark Fantasy on Amazon!!!!!!!!!
I am re-reading it!!
i'm reading a book entitled 'Out of the Dark' at the moment. I've only read 100 pages but it's basically about a mother of two who suddenly starts suffering from breakdowns and suicidal tendancies and goes through the whole shabang of therapy and discovers deep emotional strain and torture in her repressed childhood memories. I havn't figured out what yet, other than she was American, raised in Africa and living in Britain and her own mother abandoned her when she was very young. It's a true story and between the lines there is outstanding humour and I really couldn't put it down. Infact I actually stayed up all night reading it. I borrowed it off my sister and she said she loved it and it was great. The book is also co-written by her therapist and i must say it really opens your mind to the sorts of things that goes on in peoples hearts and also how they get that way.The other day i was around a young girl who kept sighing ever five minutes; I didn't speak to her but i couldn't help but wonder what was the matter. Ye' know, you read a book like this and you can all the more better talk to people like that.
Finished:
. (Disappointed with RG Veda & I had such high hopes because I loved the characters in
!)Next up is
!

will be reading book 2 as soon as possible. Also finished
and I like..."Oh Tracy I forgot to come back to this post and let you know about Red Hill. It was a good read. I didn't love it but it was a good story and well written. I think that the main reasons why I didn't enjoy it much more was because I honestly don't care for zombie stories and because one of the main characters really rubbed me for for some reason. But overall it was a solid read. You might enjoy it a lot more than me if you like zombie stories :)

All great reads."
How's
? I've had it in m..."Hi Tracy, not as good as JP's Alex Cross books (the early ones anyway) but I think he's created great characters in this series too. Of course they're all women. There are times when you can tell JP didn't write the book though. Will have to see how the series pans out.
Just finished
and
fancied a little light reading this week for a change. Both feel good stories.
I have just finished Escaping Reality - Lisa Renee Jones. Now I am not sure whether to read Rouge - Isabella Modra or The Succubus Gift - B.R. Kingsolver.
Finished
(3/11 CLAMP titles I am working on). Currently reading
, which is cute so far, but I loved the author's other series
so it's not too much of a surprise.
I've finished The Succubus Gift - B.R. Kingsolver today. Now I think I will read From a Dead Sleep - John Daly.

I really liked the Fallen series Mariana. I am starting
by Lauren Kate right now.
Just finished
, the third in The Academy series. She just came out with the newest one, so maybe . . .
Just finished
and have started on
Godhead was a good read, if plagued with typos and clumsy dialogue - I'm enjoying Stewards of the Flame so far (15% of the way in).
@Sarah Marie - I've read both Divergent and Catching Fire and loved them both!

I read this years ago, it's probably another one of those books I really need to revisit. :)
