I am new to this group. A friend of mine gave me an advance copy of True North: The Shocking Truth About Yours, Mine and Ours. She knew I have always loved the old movie with Lucille Ball and she thought I would find this book interesting. At first, I was shocked to find out that the true story of this family was quite the opposite than was portrayed in the movie. But as I am reading, I am very moved by the courage of the author to share his story as well as his journey toward healing.

Coming from an abusive family in the 1960s myself, this book is proving to be both cathartic and inspirational! Guess those "perfect families" I grew up watching and envying were actually in the same boat as me...hmmmmmm

Okay finished loved them all! Also finished both good. AWESOME! really great, both loved and hated it LOL! oldie favorite. So did a reread of this one and loved it just as much the second time around. very good followup book. FANTASTIC book!! both very good. And now reading and after I'm diving right into EEEKKKPPP! So excited for the next IAD book!!

so i finished the 3rd crossfire book only to discover it wasnt a trilogy like i thought and now i have to wait for book 4 :(.... its good and bad news at the same time lol.... i dont want to wait, but at least there will be more Gideon. :D

I felt the same way Mayra. Very conflicted. Wanted the trilogy we expected but it's very hard to be upset about getting more Gideon LOL!

I had read The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden before and loved it. Compared to that book, The Secret, fell short and was boring. You might enjoy it though.
