Through Facebook I've made the acquaintance of Jerry Zezima, a syndicated humor columnist (he was nice enough to contribute a cover blurb for my upcoming book). And it made me wonder why there are so few humor columnists anymore, at least in newspapers (print or online). We could use another Erma Bombeck right now.

A friend of mine in junior high school (no idea what that translates to British education system-wise) used to say there is no gravity. The Earth just sucks.

I love the concept of untold trillions of tiny earth-mouths busily sucking away, on their non-biodegradable plastic straws. No wonder that the weather is so awful.
