The beginning of this book talks about the three minds behind the holocaust in 1914. The author talks about how these three minds Lenin, Stalin, and Hitler came together to make this catastrophic event come to be. He says that before 1914 these three men were just like everyone else and would never dream of running an army and joining politics but when Europe went down in flames these three men sought out fear.
