Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) How do you get that from how I've acted? What stereotype am I trying to fit into?

message 352: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) The 'oh-so-cool self-assured twenty something'. It's THE American archetype of our generation.

message 353: by Christy (last edited Jul 20, 2009 06:09PM) (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) You are the one that keeps bringing up my age.

Just like you are the one to use insults like 'fucking idiot'

Also, you are the one who has been putting on these better than everyone else speeches.

I don't think I'm cool.

I'm not self-assured.

And I don't wear my heart on my sleeve like you. You fault me for not telling perfect stangers things like you, mom is a junkie and you fell into her footsteps?

message 354: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) Telling something isn't issuing an invitation for everyone to use it as an insult.

message 355: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) It is if you attack that person.

I know that Davis is your friend, but you''ve come into this in the middle. Go read all this from the start and let me show you his PMs.

message 356: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) Yes, how mature, please, by all means, keep bring that up.

I didn't say your WERE self assured, however that is the exact image you want to promulgate those who interact with you. Due to American culturisms, the low-brow semi-art irony of television, degradation in U.S fiction, etc, people like you swell in masses. We, as a culture, spend an average of 6 hours a day staring at a piece of furniture, thinking we are being voyeuristic, when in reality, they know we are watching, which is proven to create this collective over-self consciousness which you emphatically prove to be correct.

Davis (davismattek) Christy wrote: "It is if you attack that person.

Do not act innocent.

message 358: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) I'll add mine as well

And God, Davis this all sounds familiar.

I think I went out with you last week, and it ended just as well.

message 359: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) "I know that Davis is your friend, but you''ve come into this in the middle. Go read all this from the start and let me show you his PMs."

I've been following it the whole time. Lurking.

"I think I went out with you last week, and it ended just as well. "

??

message 360: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) At what point did I 'attack you'? All I did was point out when you were wrong, which you even admitted.

message 361: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) I saw you in the new contest thread, Jessica told you the drama started in the last contest one when you didn't seem to know of it.

message 362: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) Lauren wrote: ""I think I went out with you last week, and it ended just as well. "

??"

That's for my friends. I'm going to forward that laugh riot Davis spouted up there, they'll get the date reference.

message 363: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) What are we even fighting about, honestly? I truly don't care about you, and I can't imagine you really caring about anything I have to say.

message 364: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) "That's for my friends. I'm going to forward that laugh riot Davis spouted up there, they'll get the date reference."

Yes, by all means, 100% proven sociology is a joke.

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) Davis wrote: "At what point did I 'attack you'? All I did was point out when you were wrong, which you even admitted. "

If that is a serious question, I might as well be talking to an epileptic dog with down syndrome, which I might very well be...

I don't but I love entertaining Jessica.

Glad you agree.

message 368: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) So we're fight just because? I am so over this, really I am. I'm sure your a decent person, I just don't particularly care. If taking low-blow shots at a 16 year old is what makes you feel good about yourself, by all means continue.

message 369: by Christy (last edited Jul 20, 2009 06:25PM) (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) Thanks.

You've tried this 'let's just all get along' thing before, which I would be behind but some of the things you say...are just so laughable that I can't help up reply to them, and because you have NO sense of humor you'll not be able to from keep calling me a fucking idiot.

The only way this will end is if you sweeten up or if you ignore me, because I have NO control over my urges.

Like you, I'm addicted.

message 370: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) "The only way this will end is if you sweeten up or if you ignore me, because I have NO control over my urges. "

Not his problem.

message 371: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) I will sweeten up, if I have too. I'm sorry but I don't understand what you feel is so laughable about the things I say.

message 372: by Christy (new)

Save your posts to a disk and open it again when you are 30. I'll PM you my phone number so we can get in touch then and laugh about this together.

Lauren, it's painful to see some of your replies...Not to give Davis a compliment, but I don't think he needs help. Not your kind of help, in any case.

message 374: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) I'm going to assume that you are insulting my intelligence in your own special, extra-vague-as-to-not-embarrass-yourself way. Sorry, I don't understand.

message 375: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (djinni) I don't care, if I feel like posting, I post.

message 376: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) Davis wrote: "I'm going to assume that you are insulting my intelligence in your own special, extra-vague-as-to-not-embarrass-yourself way. Sorry, I don't understand. "

Why is it always about your intelligence with you? You have some hang up there you might want to see to.

I'm not saying you are unintelligent or aren't mature enough for your age, but your angst is palpable. It's natural at your age, I had my fair share. You are obsessed with everything said about you. Assuming you mellow with age, seeing yourself act this way from your 30 year old perspective will be entertaining, trust me.

message 377: by Davis (last edited Jul 20, 2009 06:31PM) (new)

Davis (davismattek) I am absolutely the product of a hyper-self conscious culture.

message 378: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) Stop blaming culture and society. You own your paradigm, you create your reality.

You've got to stop taking yourself so seriously. You wont be happy until you do.

message 379: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) Who says I'm not happy?

'You create your own reality'? You don't really believe that do you? That's like...8th grade philosophy stuff.

message 380: by [deleted user] (new)

brilliant topic idea. racist.

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) Davis wrote: "Who says I'm not happy?

I'm an occultist, we believe those things.

You don't seem happy Davis, but maybe you are. Apparently, offline you are a joy to be around.

message 382: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) You an occultist? Hmmmm, interesting. I am actually very happy, and centered, due to my Buddhist practices. Offline, I am a much different person, that's all I'll say.

message 383: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) So you come online to vent?

message 384: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) No, I just don't deal with stupid people if I can help it, in real life.

message 385: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) Well, thank God this is settled and you aren't insulting me anymore.

message 386: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) I didn't call you stupid.

message 387: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) Insinuated. If I weren't stupid, why would you be using your non-offline angry personality on me?

message 388: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) Because you are, I think, being annoying on purpose, i.e over-inflammatory comments.

message 389: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) Well, that took you long enough to pick up on.

If you didn't take everything so seriously, you might not mind me so much.

message 390: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) I'm sorry that I don't allow complete and total ignorance to run rampant.

message 391: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) Well you should be sorry.

I bet you haven't been invited to a party since rehab.

message 392: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) False.

message 393: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) Touche.

message 394: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) I've been to a few, they are just incredibly stupid.

message 395: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) If only anyone else could be as intelligent as you, you might find some interest in them and their goings on.

message 396: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) Point out the point of getting smashed, and sitting around talking about how smashed you are?

message 397: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) Some of my fondest memories

message 398: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) Christy wrote: "Some of my fondest memories"

I have good party memories as well, however, after a certain amount of time, you need to grow up.

message 399: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) Growing up doesn't mean thinking you are too good for everything and body.

message 400: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) Christy wrote: "Growing up doesn't mean thinking you are too good for everything and body."

I don't think that, whatsoever. However, it does mean quit distracting yourself from reality with both legal and illicit substances
