Do go on. "

I agree with Joelle. Kiss is such a common word it'll be harder to take it from a surprising or original angle. Most people, like you, think romance first. With epiphany you can't really do much else than give someone...an epiphany.

message 202: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) Or you could discuss some having an epiphany, the consequences of one, etc.

message 203: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) And it's still just an epiphany.

You can replace any number of verbs with kiss and it'll make things more interesting.

message 204: by Miinnniiiiie(: (new)

Miinnniiiiie(: or we could do deadliest

message 205: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) Except for all of the stories are going to use them in a groan-worthy fashion. With epiphany, it forces people to do more than random dialogue, and boring archetypes. More philosophical.

message 206: by [deleted user] (new)

hey, at least the word wasn't 'snog' that would be hard to out in a different light.

Why are you so sure everyone's story will be worse than yours?

message 208: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) Joelle wrote: "hey, at least the word wasn't 'snog' that would be hard to out in a different light."

I change my vote to snog.

message 209: by Clare D' Lune (new)

Clare D' Lune We can always do all of them :P :)

message 210: by Miinnniiiiie(: (new)

Miinnniiiiie(: LOL!

3-kiss
1-ephianily
1-snog

You don't have to like the 'groan-worthy' ones. There can always be the nicely written pieces that you can like that aren't romantic at all.

message 212: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) I'm not sure of that at all. In fact, I would probably use kiss in the singularly most groan-worthy fashion.

message 213: by Miinnniiiiie(: (new)

Miinnniiiiie(: gtg

message 214: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) Davis wrote: "I'm not sure of that at all. In fact, I would probably use kiss in the singularly most groan-worthy fashion. "

Again, I look forward to it.

message 215: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) I'm just going to do a vampire love story, so all the kids who think Twilight was a work of art will vote for me hahahahahahahahahaha

message 216: by [deleted user] (new)

make sure you write as badly as is humanly possible as well to seal the deal

message 217: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) Of course. I'm going to have to get a thesaurus to take my normal vocab and dumb it down too.

message 218: by [deleted user] (new)

sounds great! I love being talked down to!

message 219: by Clare D' Lune (new)

Clare D' Lune lol hahah well you know, even if it DID turn out that everyone turned out a bunch of stupid snog stories, and you turn out a different type, then chances are people will vote for you because its different... so be happy for the common topics!!

message 220: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) Not kiss though...ugh. Oh well. I still want to do coffee.

message 221: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) I'd like to change my vote to anything but coffee.

message 222: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) Ahhh, yes, childish antagonizing, how characteristic.

hahahahaha, nice.... name somebody, anybody, edward. somebody insignificant. and... i was gonna say kill him off, but i spose that would reduce the chances of getting those twilighter votes...

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) Davis wrote: "Ahhh, yes, childish antagonizing, how characteristic."

Hey, you don't know me. You don't know how hard my life is. I've done stuff and things. And things happened to me, as well as stuff.

I would have just quoted your PM to me, but I can't be bothered, this'll have to do.

message 226: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) Ahhh, yes, I'm withering at your behemoth intellect.

message 227: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) Wait, I know what this is.

This is the part when you reply to every one of my posts with un-original insults, are rude to a child, and then appologize hours before the week's voting begins.

message 228: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) I was entirely out of line with whats her face. And honestly, I thought we were done with this. C'mon now, act your age.

message 229: by jeeves... (new)

jeeves... | 306 comments hahahaha, i can't take sides here without running the risk of being either killed or cussed at, so i'd just like to say that i agree wholeheartedly with both of you and find this incredibly amusing. i believe davis is actually trying to avoid aggression, and is still finding it. ouch >.<

message 230: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) I really am, I'm sick of childish bickering, that isn't why I got a goodreads account.

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) If he was avoiding confrontation I'm baffled as to where the Barney-esque friendliness is in his posts are.

message 233: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) Just because I don't want to fight doesn't mean I have to be nice all the time.

Look around, there is more of that here than on facebook.

Everyone here thinks they are intelligent, witty, and talented.

Go to a suicide forum if you want people who are easily demeaned.

jeeves... | 306 comments Christy wrote: "If he was avoiding confrontation I'm baffled as to where the Barney-esque friendliness is in his posts are."

i think barney-esque would take it past avoiding-confrontation and into the level of (DANGIT! MJ jokes just don't WORK anymore....) creepiness.

and bloody HECK i want coffee ice cream. ohhh >.< *jealous*

message 236: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) And more than 75% are dead wrong. I don't enjoy demeaning people, but I also am entirely unable to suffer fools.

I'm 24, he's 16.

I know, it's hard to tell our ages, we both act 7.

message 245: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) I don't really know how you can pin that claim on me with any shred of intellectual honesty left.

message 246: by Christy (new)

Christy Stewart (christyleighstewart) Davis wrote: "No, actually I love being alone. "

Great come back.

message 247: by Miinnniiiiie(: (new)

Miinnniiiiie(: and i act 4 =D

message 248: by Davis (new)

Davis (davismattek) It wasn't a comeback, just merely stating the truth. Your original insult wasn't clever enough to warrant an sufficient amount of brainpower on my part.

message 249: by Miinnniiiiie(: (new)

Miinnniiiiie(: ......that's to scientific for my brain
