I thought this show and Grimm were the same thing for the longest time. Glad I found out otherwise. So excited for them both.
Oh i wanted to see this show so bad...:’( but i had to cut my satelite service and now im gonna miss it..
Mirna, you are in the US right? Isn't ABC one of the basic channels you get (or NBC, whichever one it is on). Or I know you can't if you are in another country, but if you are in the US you can watch them the next day online.
*runing to the tv* yes! I do have ABC in my local chanels, I thought it was gonna show on cable chanels only... *shame on me*
Yes, I found that out today when I went to set my dvr. It was said to premier today though, I checked like three times since summer and the last time was less than two weeks ago on NBC's website. They are scum. LOL
Is it wrong that I'm hoping that the kid isn't going to play a big role? I tend to not really like them. Kids on shows aimed at adults are always, always way to precocious for my liking. I turn into a crazy old person giving them the side eye and thinking, "kids should be seen and not heard"
I really liked the pilot. Did anyone else watch it? And the kid got on my nerves exactly as much as I was expecting him too. But I find myself really wanting to know more about Snow White and Prince Charming. When she pulled the sword on the Evil Queen, I was all, yep. This is my kind of show.
I watch 'Once Upon A Time' and thought it was well done. I liked the flashbacks to Fairytell Land. Henry is the rope that keeps Emma in Storybrook, Maine. There seems to be enough variety in the cast of characters to keep me interested. My TV went on the blink during the last 5 minutes. Dang. A guy at work filled me in. He didn't expect to like the show. We got into quite a discussion. I hope 'Once Upon A Time' keeps being interesting and a whole lot of people like it so it'll stick around.
It looks like it has potential as long as it stays focused. They could get massively distracted with all the stories to pick from.
My husband and I liked it too. It is hard to tell though from the pilot (at least for me) if it will turn out great. We were interested in it though and really liked Snow and Charming's plot line.

I liked that episode 1 played before episode 2. I noticed things from the first show that I missed before.
My husband and I really like it so far. We had lots of discussions going while watching and had to pause it continuously to talk about what we thought was going on.
I have a friend at work who watches 'Once Upon a Time'. He actually likes it better than 'Grimm'. That surprised me. I think he enjoys all the clues that 'Once Upon a Time' doles out. I miss most of said clues. He thought 'Grimm' was nothing new. I like both. The 'frozen' in time' thing is food for discussion. Do the children of Fairytale Land age? If not, how did Henry age? Mmmm. I wonder if that will ever be revealed. And how powerful is Rumplestilskin (sp)? Is he aware? And of course, I expect the prince to wake up. I hope he wakes up. Time is no longer frozen.
Those are exactly the things my husband and I talked about while watching it. It took us double the time because we talked and paused so much. About Henry. We talked a lot about him. His mother was in the cupboard so they weren't part of the spell. That is why he aged I imagine. How Rumpelstiltskin actually brought him there I do not know. That is weird.
I can't wait for Prince Charming to wake up! I am such a sucker for true love. I can see him and Snow not supposed to know each other in their new life, but be drawn and feel connected to each other. I really love that stuff.
Still need to catch up on episode 2, but I really liked episode 1.What I'm dying to find out is if there will be a Beauty and the Beast love story at all! Or if the only "princess" love story will be snow white?
Oh that would be so awesome, a Beauty and the Beast love story. As far as the Disney Princess takes go--they are my absolute favorite.
I love B&B too. I also love Cinderella. Maybe later on they can bring in others. I think right now it would be too much. It would be cool though.
I'm still in the middle of episode 2, but I can't believe that Pam from True Blood was Maleficent. They would make her an evil queen.
I'm fairly certain Snow White will wake Charming with a kiss somehow. It just seems like it'll have to go that way. =)

And I will aww myself into a puddle of goo! I hope that Pam will be a regular, I loved her! And Andy from True Blood popped up somewhere on TV last week. I think it was on Revenge?

Got done watching episode two last night and I was just going to gush about Maleficent!! I hope she is a regular. But my favorite evil villain is Ursala, I wish they could find a way to squeeze her in.
They keep taunting me with comercials for how Snow White wronged the Queen. I hope that's what we get to see next week.
Oh my goodness yes! Ursula--you know in Disney's The Little Mermaid when Ursula turns herself into a human and almost marries the prince? That little ditty she sings to herself? "Soon I'll have that little mermaid and the ocean will be miiiiiiiiine!" Is pretty much my favorite thing EVER. But Beauty and the Beast remain my favorite. Belle is the best, with Meg coming in a close second.
Ursula is the ULTIMATE, I quote her like crazy. All my friends know to sing poor unfortunat souls when I'm done.
I you were asking if anyone scenes episode 3 yet? That would be yes!!I love that Snow White (view spoiler)
I don't want to watch cinderella's story!! I won't more on Snow White. Though it does give me hope that Beauty and the Beast may have a place in this storyline!!!
Ya, I try and make an effort to post the season and episode number so that if you're scanning though the discussion there are place markers to help out, but sometimes I get busy and it doesn't happen. Anyway, Ya, I was asking for your thoughts on Season 1, Episode 2.
The sherriff seems like one. This never occurred to me. And since my TV was losing reception throughout the show, I miss a lot of the story.
Snow White is just...a badass. I loved her and Prince "Charming's" snark and that it wasn't love at first sight. I like Snow White better in Fairytale land than I do as Mary Margaret in Storybrooke. And did the narrator on the Previouslies say that Mayor knows that she was the Evil Queen?
I thought the evil queen retained her memories. Mary Margaret is a wuss!! Waiting for her to wake up.
I kind of like that there's such a difference in the Snow Whites. Miss Priss, just as you'd imagine, and then the bad ass you never expected.
I loved seeing how Charming and Snow met. I am excited to see more! I don't care for Snow's Storybrooke hair though, gag. She looks cute in a bob, why couldn't they just do that? Oh well. We get to see Cinderella next week!
