showing 0 combines when have combined books

I've had this happen quite a few times lately: I combine editions of a book and the message says 0 combined even though editions were combined. If I go to recent edits, those combines do show. Have any other librarians had this happen? Frequently? Thanks.

I have it because my computer is really slow and I get impatient and click the button again. But if I just click it once and wait it doesnt do that...

Ubik, You might have solved this mystery. I've got a behaviorally challenged mouse and it seems to be double, triple and more, much more!!, clicking when I've clicked only once. For instance, If I want to go back one page, I often get a reverse movie and go back a bunch of pages. So the culprit appears to be my mouse. Thanks for clearing that up. I need to get a new mouse but have been procrastinating, partly because when my computer gets this old I wait for it to start failing and hate to buy anything for it. Anyway, thank you for that information.
