Dee (austhokie) | 438 comments i'm dorking mine out...lol! but I used to do this stuff for a living on the ship when I was the navigator

Her Royal Orangeness (onlyorangery) Another idea. If you use google maps to chart your journey, and connect the countries with lines, it will give you the mileage distance for the lines and you just have to add it up for your total. Mine is about 80,000 miles, which I thought was kinna neat - 80 books in 80,000 miles. :)

Dee (austhokie) | 438 comments i thought about doing that and started the map, and only got my first few on there before i got distracted ;)

Her Royal Orangeness (onlyorangery) I'm a total Google Map addict. For reals. :) I even spent quite a bit of time on Christmas Eve watching the Santa Tracker...lol.

I do think its cool that i've travelled about 70k miles since I started this trip, and i've only read 15 books...

Love Google maps! I have it on my treadmill so I can virtually jog anywhere in the world (If only I used it a bit more...)
