The book I am reading right now is called The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan.The book is about two kids named Carter, and Sadie their father got captured by an evil egyptian god named Set, they are traveling the world trying to find him with the cat godess Bast. I am on page 340 out of 514. I can't wait to finish the book.by: Elaine
I just got done reading the book 15 minutes by Steve Young. It was about a boy named Casey, who is always late and he needs a watch so he can get places on time, so he goes up to the attic and finds his grandfathers old watch. He soon finds ou8t that the watch can take him back in time. Dealing with all him problems by going back in time his bestfreind Nina begins to hate him.
I just started reading this book called Otherwise Known as Sheila The Great by Judy Bloom. This book is about a family that goes to a place for summer vacation, and Sheila meets a friend names Mouse her real name is Merle. Mouse is a swimmer, and is very good at yo-yoing. Mouse wants to teach Sheila how to yo-yo again because when Sheila was 2 she was really good at it, but its been a few years and she forgot how. So Mouse wants to help her learn how to yo-yo again. Another part of the book says Sheila cant swim so she gets swimming lessons, but the problem is.....Sheila doesnt wanna get her face wet!

The book that I just finished reading is called Clementine Friend of the Week. The author who wrote it is Sara Pennypacker. The main characters are Clementine and Maragret. The story takes place in Clementine, and Margret's, apartment in Boston. Her dad works for the apartment building that they live in. A plumber came to help him,and Clementine's cat accidently left with him. Clementine or her family don't know where the cat went. Clementine makes 300 posters and hangs them up all over town. During this whole mishap Clementine is friend of the week in her 3rd grade class. The posters get in the paper, when the plumber notices the posters he calls up her family, and Clementine gets Moisturizer (the cat) back.
The book that im reading right now is called Theres a boy in the girls bathroom by Louis Sachar and the two main characters is the new boy Jeff Fishkin and the bully Bradly. Jeff wants to be freinds with him but the bully dosen't and they do not have the same personality. In the book all the girls say hi to Jeff and they think that bradlys mean so they meet afterschool and the girls give him a black and purple it was so realistic.And another thing was that the consler she is new and she loves visitors and she gets the bully and she changes him to be a better student and then she ends up have the bully as a nice guy and the new kid the bully.

The book I'm currently reading is called Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince. The author of this book is by J.K Rowling. The characters of this fantastic book is Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, Albus Dumbledore, Tom Riddle (Voldemort), Draco Malfoy, Fenir Greyback, Lucios Malfoy, Bellatrix Lestrange, and Severus Snape. A couple settings in this story is Hogwarts, Hogsmead, and Ron's house 'The Burrow'. A few main events this story couldn't live without is When Dumbledore shows Harry the tempored with memory of Slughorns. Also, when Harry asks attemps to ask Professor Slughorn 'What a Horcux Is?' but Slughorn refuses. Another, is the 'Advanced Potion Making' book who is Property Of The Half-Blood Prince who gives Harry cheats and short cuts through the potion making. But, Harry is still wondering "Who The Half-Blood Prince is?" Another, important part of this book is when Dumbledore and Harry go to 'The Non Magic Cave' and the find a locket called the locket from the cave but they still don't no if it's the real Horcux. Also, a main important event is when they find out who the Half-Blood Prince at someone's death.

I am reading the book, The Wednesday Wars, By Gary D. Schmidt. The main character is Holling Hoodhood, A 7th grader Presbyterian. Holling goes to Camillo Junior High on Long Island, New York, 1967-1968 (The story starts in September). Holling used to have Presbyterian friends, but they moved away, leaving him the only Presbyterian in his town. On Wednesday at 1:45, everyone goes to Saint Aldebert's or Temple Beth-El's, neither for Presbyterians, so Holling is left behind at school with Mrs. Baker, a teacher whom (according to Holling) hates Holling's guts. Right now, I'm reading a part where a bus slides out of control, in front of Holling's sister. Holling save's his sister, but gets hit on his...erm...buttocks, and get's smacked into a snowbank at the local bakery, Goldman's Best Bakery. Another event is: when Mrs. Baker makes Holling read Shakespeare book's (out of class, I might add), Holling remember's that he must get cream puffs for the class (after getting one when no one else does) or the class will kill him. He realizes that being in 7th grade comes with death threats. Holling goes to buy 22 cream puffs at Goldman's Best Bakery, and dosen't have enough money, so Mr. Goldman said that he would give him cream puffs for free if he could recite some lines of Shakespeare (coinkidink!). Mr. Goldman is impressed, and gives him a part in the Long Island Shakespeare Company's Holiday Extravaganza. As Ariel. Ariel the Fairy. Hah! This is a summary on the book, The Wednesday Wars.
The book i'm reading is called Harry Potter and the chamber of seacrets by J.K Rowling.The main chacters are Harry Potter,Harmine Grainger, and Ron Weasly they all go to school at a place called Hogwarts.So far Harry keeps hearing a voice that wants to kill so him and his friends think they know who controls the voice. Witch is a snake they know that because they asked a teacher if he knew anything about it and he did.So they make polyguse poshien witch can change you to any person and go under cover and ask Moulfoy a person on the Sytheron team if he knew who did it or if he did it.

In Petey the main characters are obviously Petey, Esteban a mexican man who thought Petey was more than a "idiot" and Calvin who became Petey's friend who helped Petey talk and play games with him along with Owen and Joe where they had the same thoughts as Esteban.
The setting first started at the hospital in which he is born but Petey is put in Warm Springs Insane Asylum for being a "idiot" and was thought to be a danger others.
Several events happened like Petey being born and diagnosed with "idiot" were as his mother sold everything to go to her doctor to cure her son she even sold her ranch but after his mother found out it was helpless she sent him to Warm Springs Insane Asylum were Petey does nothing interesting for the next couple years but after those years, crumbs left on his bed attracted mice and Petey was potentially friendly to them and they were friendly to him it even ended up with one of the mice he named Esteban in honor for the mexican man who took care of him and thought he was more than an "idiot" but to make things better Calvin arrived at the asylum and on that day Calvin became friends with Petey but after over hearing a conversation with two attendents asking one to put out rat poison Petey tries to save the mice from death by making sure he is less messy with his food but it was helpless the mice still came Petey refusing to betray his little friends he realizes he must scare the mice away and hope they never come back, so Petey wags and grunts to scare the mice away and did it every night but without sleep Petey knows the mice's life will end so he enlists Calvin so they can take shifts and at the end of the week they never came back.
I am very excited for the rest of the book and i acnt wait to read the rest!

The book I am reading is Hunger Games By:Susan Collins.I am not very far into it yet but I am at the part where Katniss and Gale are in the woods looking for game.When Gale starts to yell Katniss gets annoyed but she doesnt say anything because she knows he is angery.I am on page 19 out of 374. My book, River Secrets by Shannon Hale, is about how the countries Bayern and Tira had a war. Not long after that Tira requests soem peace between them, so each country sends an ambassador to journey the different country. A forest-born boy Razo joins the journey to escort the ambassador to Tira. The Bayerns' Own, the best knights, stay a while, and Razo keeps finding burned bodies, the ground around it hasn't been burned so they must have dragged the bodies, but no drag marks. Ledel, the Tira army captain and Talone, the Bayern army captain ant to have a friendly compitition, by having to choose a soldier and having them fight each other with wooden swords. Tumas, the biggest one of them all, and Razo compete against each other, and when Razo looses, Finn, one of Razo's friend, competes against Tumas and wins. After the fight Tumas finds Razo, and tells him he's not safe. I am on page 73 out of 290.

The book I am curently reading is, The missing book 3 Sabotaged, by Margaret Peterson, or often known as Haddix. This book is the secound to last book of "The Missing" series. It is about these two kids, Jonah, and Katherine Skidmore, and they turn out to be time traveling history savers. They get sent back in time with the victim, Andrea, or known from the past as, Virginia Dare. These kids roam around in the past looking for a way to fix history so they can all peacefully return to there twenty-first century lives, but along the way they incounter some unfortunate events. I am only on page 90 out of 377, but it explains alot.

The mian character is King Arthor and how at first he didn't want to be king, so his mother told him that his brother will be king instead. Also his mother decided for Arthor to be a spy and to go spy on the king of the next territory. Arthor did not think he was a bad man, but his mother did.It was a really good book and I hope you read it.

The book I am reading right now is the "Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins.It all starts in district 12 were Katniss,her mother and Primrose lives.Reaping day is coming up and her and Gale celabrate by meeting in the woods to hunt.When the reaping day comes Prim is chosen to be there champion but Katniss refuses to let her sister (that is only eleven)to go and fight to death.So Katniss volenteers to take her sisters place.When she reaches the capital she gets introduced to Cinna (her fashon sylist).When the games begin she races for a back pack in the pile of things and sprinted through the forest.People are tracking her down to kill her.That is were I am at right Know.My question is will she survive? (I am guessing she's going to because there are two other books.)
The book I am reading is called Song of the Sparrow And it is by Lisa Annn Sandell and one of the Character are Elaine and she is out in the woods and she has no sisters and no mother and she is basicly lost and she does not know what to do and what to exspect. And so far I am only on page 144 and it has been really good and I think that Elaine does not now how to find her way back from where she came from. You might think this sounds like an easy task, but its not. There are a lot of obstacles in their way and the obstacles want to kill them! I am on page 394 and just finished reading a intense part... Sadie has to decided whether to save the world or her father! What will she pick? Hehehe can't tell you!
