My daughter became REALLY engrossed in The Wardstone Chronicles books, so I figured I'd check them out. Turns out, they were pretty great! Just spooky enough to entertain tweens and enough mucking about with Monsters to be entertaining to Dad!

Horror Bookworm Reviews | 11 comments Ok, I never picked up this series, but working in a book store the covers of this series are awesome. They are a great head turner. Speaking of YA, I have to throw this out there. My Daughter is awesome! That being said...lol...she recently finished Clive Barkers Abarat. The third book just came out. This series is awesome, picture Clive Barker writing Alice In Wonderland and there you have it.

I've been meaning to read Abarat for ages! I read one of his earlier YA books and it was great. (forget the name now though.) My daughter right now is totally hooked on the Everworld books by K.A. Applegate. I started reading the Wardstone books though and got hooked! I've been antsy waiting for Delaney to read # 3 so I can read it. (trying to keep us on the same book!)
