who cried in the end?!?
As soon as I was finished the book, I started sobbing like a baby. I reread the last two pages over and over, unable to convince myself of what happened. I wanted to throw the book, I was so upset!

I didn't cry but I was utterly shocked. I didn't do anything the whole day. I was like a catatonic. It was so emotional i can't even believe it happenedi had to process it first, and convince myself.. that Alex actually did that, that he sacrificed himself. i wanted to go inside the book and hurl Alex to the other side of the fence!, , Gosh what's wrong with me!
I cried like a baby! I really hope he isn't dead, or else I'm not sure I'll be able to read the second book without crying.
I hope that Alex didn't die if he did I'm going to throw a ginger fit!!! I did n't cry i gasped, re-read the lines in shock, and then threw a tiny temper tantrum.
I did not cry. I wept. Then I decided that I hated Lauren Oliver. Then I thought, no, how could I hate an author who created such a beautiful book. Then I was ANGRY with the world ... (okay, I mainly took it out on my sister... hahaha) and now I am just so so so excited for Pandemonium!!!!
Balled my face off!! I cried all the rest of the day! And I kept rereading the ending!
I was too shocked to cry...but I hope he survived somehow.
He doesn't cause he's in the second book that comes out.

Yeah I cried. In this book I felt like I was actually experiencing every moment. I cried when Alex sacrificed himself for Lena. I thought that was true love and adorable!

I definitely cried!!! I was so mad!!! I hate when something that grows so wonderfully just dies... I don't want him dead :( its so awful :*(
I finished reading the book for an hour or so and I didn't cry, I have not assimilated very well the end yet, but I was very sad. I have doubts, Alex die from bullets or is injured and possibly taken to the Crypt? When he says to Lena that she must jump the fence and not look back I knew that he wouldn't cross it.
I cried soooo hard! The ending was sooooo sad! WHY ALEX? WHY! OH THE AGONY!

and me too of course ! It took me a wile to come back to reality . I couldn't normally think that sad it was. He have to come back in next book !
I think alex is still alive, he can't die.
I was upset that Alex didn't cross over into the "Wilds" with Lena, but it is definitely going to be interesting to see what happens to Lena in the next book. That and there is a part of me that doesn't think Alex died, that he was just captured and put somewhere and Lena doesn't know it yet........what to do, what to do? I wish the next book would hurry up and come out, lol!!!!!

I cried. I even jumped on my bed *a lot* just to release my frustration. After that I read the ending for over five times cause I really can't believe it ended that way (at that moment I thought it was a stand alone book- hope that explains my reaction haha). When I learned that there's a 2nd and a 3rd book, I really laughed hard at myself. :D
I did! man, it even deserved all the tears i shed!!! so sad!
Yep I cried. I had to read the ending twice to understand what was going on, my adrenaline got the best of me. Can't wait until Pandemonium.
So, I was kind of in the presence of normal people when I finished this book and when Lena finds out Alex was still on the other side of the fence I made sort of a choke/sob noise and everyone turned to look at me. Awkward... Thankfully I made it to the bathroom before balling my eyes out. I can certainly say, my heart is broken. I don't know ho she's going to do it, but Lena has to find a way to rescue him! She has to! Oooh, I really hope they didn't cure him, or if they did, that it doesn't work. OMG, I CANNOT wait for the next book!

I cried sure, but that had nothing with me swearing and mad all over. I mean who does such a cruel thing to a nice character. It just like .. making your readers do suicide. LOL
