Help with how to handle uncorrected advance reading copies

use the ISBN of the hardcover and treat the book as the hardcover edition. Advance reading copy is the same book, you just got it early.

Actually, this is the most common practice. It's not required, of course -- if you prefer to just list the regular hardcover on your shelves, that's fine. But be careful not to edit the hardcover with any edition that is specific to the ARC.

I have an uncorrected advance reading copy that doesn't have a separate ISBN. Its ISBN is the one for the hardcover edition. Do I just treat it as the hardcover edition when adding it to My Books? Or do I make an alternate cover/edition entry for it? Or is there another Goodreads standard practice that I should follow?
Thanks!
