message 111: by Diana (new)

Diana (higura_natume) | 931 comments i know

i have to look at a dictionary like every paragraph

message 112: by Chandani (new)

Chandani (milkduds920) | 6408 comments Yeah. When i read shakespear i always read the "no-fear" versions.

message 113: by Diana (new)

Diana (higura_natume) | 931 comments but all the publishers take pride in unabridged versions

why do they?

they must be sadistic people too...

message 114: by Liz (new)

Liz abridged? meh. but so much of the awesomeness and beauty of the writing is lost. I don't like abridged because thats not how the author intended for it to be read. but whatever. there are a lot of period words in pride and prejudice and shakespeare, which makes it kinda hard. i looooovvvve jane austen!!!

Emma | 387 comments I have no idea what we're really talking about right now.
But if we're talking about books that are KIND OF OLD (I said kind of because I don't read too many old books) then lets talk about this book "Knee Deep in Thunder". I like it but it's so long that I get bored. LOL.

what colonies? do you know how long it takes to travel to mars? A long time, and mars is really hot, yeah the moon is good place but someone already bought the moon so we cant start a colony because that would be trespassing, haha that is really funny how this billionaire got so bored he bought the moon well i got some info for him, his property is floating away from here, thats right 2 inches a year the moon is leaving the orbit into deep space so in a million years or so guess what the moon will become part of the star's inner circle

Mars has no atmosphere. It's hot and cold.
