In the topics "God" and "Aetheism", things get ugly. To my left, led my MP, people are saying God doesn't exist. MP says I'm crazy. To my right, everyone who says God exists defends me. I no they have opinions, but do they have to flame me? No. Tell me one more time: why can't we just get along??

Yes, true. Maybe there should be a truce place. Where we just talk about stuff, and not debate at all. Or a place that the moderator can send someone if they're not respecting people.

It's a debate group. We have disagreements. I don't see anyone in this group as my enemy. I simply accept that I have different views from other people.

Once people start calling names, telling people they're crazy/stupid/etc., then THAT'S just mean and uncalled for. So pleez everybody ... You're allowed to state your opinion, but there is no excuse for being outright rude.

I have been kinda busy lately. Yesterday was actually my dad's birthday, actually. I also don't want to restrict this group too much. Chaos seems to be something that would work here.

And like it's been said, this IS debate group. Honestly, if you are here to make friends and not to debate (or be entertained by watching people debate) then this group is not for you.

However, that doesn't mean people can insult each other. Remember, one idea of one person doesn't make up the entirety of who they are. So you can disagree (and are encouraged to disagree) but please don't insult each other.

And Riley, there is a section where we can have normal discussions. There is an entire folder, in fact. It's called Non Debating Discussions.

I DO mind and I DO take offense when people attack me, not just my arguments/beliefs. Saying things like "you're stupid" and "you're an idiot" instead of "i disagree with your view." That's rude and uncalled for and NOT okay.
