Kloud's Dorm

[Michelle]

Draven walked up to Kloud's room, hesitating as he raised a hand as if to knock the door, then thought the better of it and pressed his ear against the door, listening for any sounds that betrayed she was awake.

Kloud's eyes fluttered open and she sat up groggily, immediately hit by morning sickness. She got out of bed quickly and went into the bathroom to throw up in the toilet.

Draven's eyes widened in alarm when he heard the retching sounds, "Kloud!" he knocked on the door urgently, then reached down to jerk the knob and shove open the door, eyes darting around, expecting to find the worst.

Kloud groaned. "I'm in here," she called weakly, kneeling by the toilet. She leaned over as another wave of nausea hit her.

[Michelle]

Draven rushed into the bathroom and was kneeling by her side in an instant, ducking his head to feel her forehead, "Another round?" he murmured worriedly.

Kloud nodded, leaning over the toilet. Sweat beaded on her forehead as she retched, whatever she'd had in her stomach was now in the toilet.

Draven's eyebrows furrowed in worry, "Come on. I'm taking you to the hospital wing this time." He got up and grabbed a towel, wetting it before putting it to her warm forehead.

"I'm fine," Kloud protested, "It's just morning sickness, Draven. No need to freak out."

[Michelle]

"This happened three times in a row. The hell I won't freak out." Draven demanded, his eyes filled only with angry concern for her.

Kloud sighed and closed her eyes, leaning against the toilet. "Fine. Take me to the hospital wing if it makes you happy," she murmured.

Draven stared at her worn out figure for a while longer before he released a rough breath, "Come on." he said softly before pulling her up gently, but made no move to leave the bathroom, instead lightly settling her down onto the edge of the bathtub. "Let's get you cleaned up."

Kloud nodded.tiredly, opening her eyes again.

Draven washed the cloth again and started cleaning Kloud's face gently, his hand lightly caressing her smooth skin.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Draven murmured as a smile tugged the corners of his mouth. He made sure she was cleaned up before tossing the cloth away and bending down to scoop her up in his arms.

"because I'm tired and you're pretty," Kloud replied, resting her head on his shoulder.

"Glad you think so." Draven laughed softly and brought her out to her room, laying her gently on her bed and moving the sheets over her before sitting down on the edge of the bed and brushing her face tenderly.

Kloud closed her eyes once more, making herself comfortable in the bed. "I thought you were taking me to the hospital wing," she asked.

[Michelle]

"Guess you're just going to have to settle with your imagination then. I'll even be a nurse if you like." Draven chuckled.

Kloud smiled. "I don't want a nurse; I want one of those 'Get Well' teddy bears. How bout that?"

[Michelle]

"I'll be sure to jot that down on your Christmas list." Draven laughed, "Now get some sleep or Santa'll see that you haven't been a good girl."

"Alright," Kloud sighed, wrapping the covers around her more, "Are you gonna join me?"

[Michelle]

Draven hesitated, "Do you want me to stay?"

[sucre'd fiend]

Kloud nodded. "Of course," she replied.

[Michelle]

Draven exhaled, "Then I'll stay. But I'll be on the couch if you need me." he started to get up.

[sucre'd fiend]

"No," Kloud said quickly, "Stay on the bed with me."

[Michelle]

Draven paused, "You need your rest, Kloud.."

[sucre'd fiend]

"Please?"

[Michelle]

Draven sighed, then finally gave in, "Alright." he walked around over to the other side and slid on, kicking his shoes off and lying down on top of the sheets.

Kloud turned over to face him and snuggled close. "Thank you," she murmured, before falling asleep quickly.

[Michelle]

Draven's eyes softened as he looked down at her sleeping figure and he slowly brought an arm out to wrap around her. Leaning down, he pressed a light kiss to the top of her head, and when he was absolutely sure she was asleep, he whispered, "I love you."

Kloud smiled faintly, murmuring softly.

Draven curled in around her protectively, and promptly fell asleep.
