hexa6ram | 3 comments I manually imported a foreign book but in Serbian language (both the title and the author are in that language) so no other editions are suggested when I want to combine.

My edition of the book is this:
Goja ili Tegobni put saznanja

I would like to combine it with these editions:
Goya

How can I do that? (I had this problem before and I would really want to have Serbian editions combined with others, because of the reviews, ratings etc.)

Marisa (moretta) | 127 comments What's the original name of the author? I think one of the books should have its author changed. It doesn't make sense to have the author's name translated. As I see, you should change the author's serbian name to his original name and then you'll be able to combine it.

Paula (paulaan) | 7014 comments Generally since the book has been translated the English version of the name should be used.

I added that to the Serbian edition as primary and left the serbian as secondary which allows combination.

You can add Serbian author details to that author page is you want

hexa6ram | 3 comments That's what I thought was the problem.

In Serbian we also transcribe the names (unlike for example Croatian) so I wanted to do that but I guess it's not practical here on goodreads.

Thank you Marisa.
