I'm almost halfway through (I know, I know.. I'm terrible.. zero self control). It is sooooo good! But I plan on reading it a second time during the month of Nov. I feel like it's the type of book where I'll get even more meaning the second time through.

And don't worry.. my lips are sealed. There will be no spoiling.

just a question for everyone...how do you think we should start the discussion..like clearly everyone will be in different places with the reading because of everyones schedules and such..so i don't want people to fear taking part in the discussions because they might see something they haven't read.

what if we broke it up into threads for every few chapters and then also had a general thread..

on some groups they only have one thread..and even if it is a spoilers thread..i am hesitant to start posting because i feel like i can't read anything for fear of not haven gotten to that part yet..

so what do you think?

Hm...I never really worry about it. As long as no one spoils the ending in the thread right away, I don't think it is a problem. Although breaking it up into chapter-chunk threads is probably the best way to go if others are worried about it.

Yeah, breaking it up into chapters sounds good. I started the book intending to read the first couple chapters so I could read along with everyone else...but I got extremely hooked and now I'm almost finished with it. I absolutely love it! Now I want to read his other novel, Everything is Illuminated.

Hey! Just wanted to say that I am reading this book this month but I have a hard time reading lately and not falling asleep, so incase I don't respond to discussions, I am still reading it!! Haha. Just wanted to let people know, hopefully I can keep up though and I will add this into my homework time too! :)
