Tyler looked over the edge of the waterfall, unsure about the height. "You ready?" he asked Shay, trying not to stare.

"Ready? I live to do this!" Shay grabbed his hand and walked to the very edge. "On the count of three?"

[rose, "So fine...So FINE."]

((Ahh lol, I mixed 'em up!))

"Uh yeah s-sure" he said, glancing over the edge then looking away. "1...2..."

"3!" Shay screamed and jumped, pulling Tyler with her.

[rose, "So fine...So FINE."]

"3!" he yelled, the same time she did. Tyler almost fell face first, being yanked by Shay. "holey Sh*t" he yelled, free falling through the air holding onto Shay's arm tightly.

"Make sure you don't belly flop!" she screamed over the rush of air and water.

[rose, "So fine...So FINE."]

"what?" he asked, feeling the warm mist touching his back.

"Don't belly flop!" Shay screamed again, angling her body to dive.

[rose, "So fine...So FINE."]

"Okay" he yelled, straightening his legs. Tyler screamed, his feet breaking through the water.

Shay dove into the water with hardly a splash. She resurfaced, laughing and coughing up water.

[rose, "So fine...So FINE."]

Tyler's head bobbed on the surface of the water, spitting the water from his mouth. "Wow." he said, completely speechless.

"Totally bubbly, right?" she asked, grinning as she squeezed water out of her hair on the shore.

[rose, "So fine...So FINE."]

"Totally heart crushing" he said, breathing abnormally. "Awesome though" he coughed.

"You'll get used to it." Shay said shrugging.

[rose, "So fine...So FINE."]

"I will?" he asked, mildly amused as he kick his feet still in the water.

"If you choose to do it again. I'm going back up, you want to come?" Shay asked, over her shoulder. She had already started up the stairs.

[rose, "So fine...So FINE."]

"Uh no" he said, lying backwards to float on his back. "I'll watch this time"

Shay got to the top and stood at the very edge. She jumped and started showing off just a bit.

Tyler's mouth dropped open as she jumped over the edge, twirling until she broke through the water, ending in a perfect dive.

Shay resurfaced, shaking the water from her hair.

"Show off" he called out teasingly, rolling his eyes in mock anger.

"Of course I am," Shay said, grinning at Tyler

"and you pride yourself in being one" he added, grinning along with her.

"Yes, I very much do." Shay smiled, she swam over to Tyler. They were almost touching when she stood straight.

[rose, "So fine...So FINE."]

Tyler's smile faltered his foot brushing against hers.

Shay mouth parted just barely before she closed it again and took a step back

"I'm sorry" he mumbled, stepping back till his was on shore. His air dribbling water into his eyes and down his face.

Shay just trailed behind him quietly.

"I-i have to go" he said, thoughts of Emily crashing down into his mind.

Shay just nodded and turned off the path and called over her shoulder numbly, "You can find your way back, right?" Even before he answered, she disappeared into the trees.

"Bye" he called out to her, not realizing she had vanished.
