Don't get me started on Yodel. The two most expensive pieces of kit I ever ordered by mail and they just left them on the doorstep for everyone to see!

Emma (emzibah) | 4125 comments When I got mine it had like a little "quick start' guide on a small bit of card. Just how to turn on and recharge. The rest is in the manual on the device

message 303: by Elle (new)

Elle (louiselesley) | 6579 comments They left a really important parcel I ordered outside. On my step. In a thunderstorm.

I'm a hippy so I say no to paper. There is plenty of information on the website and in the forum to figure it out. If you ordered the thing online, you can search for instructions online.

Hahah I once had a bed delivered and they didn't bring it on the day I had expected so i had a phone call asking me if it was already to leave it in the garden... um no

message 308: by Elle (new)

Elle (louiselesley) | 6579 comments LOL.

A bed just sitting in the garden, i can imagine it.

D.M. Andrews (author) Andrews (dmandrews) | 1551 comments What she didn't tell you is that they were delivering a flower bed...

message 311: by Tim (new)

Tim | 8539 comments When I got my keyboard kindle, the delivery "person" (no, person is too good for them. delivery moron) left it in the wheelie bin. On bin day. Now, my neighbour is a helpful person, and if I'm not home, he'll often put my bin out as well as his. I'm sure you can see where this is going. Fortunately I got home 15 minutes before the bin men took it away, but it was a close run thing.

message 312: by Lorraine (new)

Lorraine Versini (lorraineversini) | 8438 comments Wow tim, that was close

Actually on point, someone remind me to go through the store later in the week. I need to order something for my Mother.

message 314: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Will try to remember for you.

Oh dang. Dave asked me to order a Turkey Lonely Planet at lunchtime and I forgot.

Better get on that now.

Hey, Simon. Did all the knives I ordered go through the store finally?

Simon (Highwayman) (highwayman) | 4276 comments No Patti. Not a single one.

message 316: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Well, blast.

I added the tag! That would have been like £3 for the group!

They've all been delivered now. Can't cancel and re-order.

message 317: by Jay-me (Janet) (new)

Jay-me (Janet) | 3784 comments What about my DVDs - I'm watching the first one now, so I hope they went through the store. I thought they would add about 20p to the funds.

Simon (Highwayman) (highwayman) | 4276 comments Had hardly anything go through for days. I wonder why

message 319: by Patti (baconater) (new)

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Well I ordered the Turkey Lonely Planet a little while ago. It better show!

We're thinking of Turkey for a few days during the Christmas break. Seems we can do a long layover there on the way to the UK.

Turkey for Christmas! As you do...

You can't.

You can get it added by our darling Simon if you get over so many posts in your authors thread though.

message 327: by Elle (new)

Elle (louiselesley) | 6579 comments ikr? it's normally quite a bit of money too, so if anything ridiculous appears to go through the group store in future it's probably him.

Simon (Highwayman) (highwayman) | 4276 comments I even resisted a link with the group tag. I would have been getting all sorts of amazon adverts

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments Did you see this beneath it?

What Other Items Do Customers Buy After Viewing This Item?
Fifty Shades of Grey by E L James
Fifty Shades Darker by E L James
Gifts for Men - Man Tin - leads, screws & other pointless stuff I must keep - ideal gift for him
Fifty Shades Freed by E L James

So after viewing the "control a woman" men decide that a much better way is to buy her badly written soft porn to read

message 344: by Lorraine (new)

Lorraine Versini (lorraineversini) | 8438 comments 50 shades features on every single thing for sale.... Methinks amazon is raking the money big time
