Eamonn,
You are muchly welcome. lol

Got the pics from MM, loved em!! Very inviting. The 'T' are great too, can read names very clearly. Let us know how much, and how you want us to pay. Do you have a Paypal account set up? I have one for my store, it helps out with my book orders too. That would be the easiest way. Just at thought. Later!

hiya, can i just check your email...the amazon site does not recognise it as an address when I try to send you the kindle book?

Eamonn,
That e-mail address I gave you is my personal e-mail. Just send me an e-mail from your e-mail account. That way, we are able to talk to each other.

Nice to have you aboard, Eamonn. I can tell you that the folks here with us are some of the best authors and friends a writer can have. I count myself fortunate :-)

MM, I'm now 7% into M.O.D. and look forward to posting a review as soon as I finish enjoying it. This story ramps up almost immediately :-)

Tim, just wait! You won't be able to sit still by the end.

I'm going to be reading that book this week, as well. I intend to do a review as well. I will post the link here when it has been completed.

Oh, my, Sandy! Are you telling me I need to prepare for a cardiac arrest? :)

Well, How old are you? lol I kept standing up while I was reading because there was so much action, it felt like I should be doing something!

Looks like we're taking chances with our health, Norma. I can already tell it's going to be a helluva good story :-)
I almost had a heart-failure when I read that I had 73 new sales at Barnes and Noble (where I'm lucky to sell a handful every now and again). It turns out those were free "The Shaft" stories through Smashwords :-)

Well, Tim, hopefully it will turn into some profit for you, at some point. However, exposure is good, at this point. Who knows how far those 73 books may reach in terms of developing interest in other readers?

My, oh my! I guess I'll brace myself for the upcoming ride.

Saw the threads and added my two cents to the mix.
For those that don't know how to view the other threads in a discussion group...the easiest way is to scroll up to the top...click on the group name (usually in green and when you hover over it the underline will appear)then it will show all the threads posted under it. click on the thread that interests you.
Great job Sharon. When I'm a little more awake I might start a couple more threads but don't hold me to anything. :)

I echo all that Tim. Great bunch of guys and gals.

And thanks to all of you for your kind remarks about M.O.D.. You don't have any idea how much my son enjoys hearing that!!!

Good! I had no idea about this. Thanks.

Howdy, Sandy... heard you have a very neat blog. Mind to add me in your interview queue?

P.R. has two books out by a very small press and working on a third and I have one book out in my series and a second on the way. Both of us have a very competent publisher and wonder if an agent helping us get a new publisher would even be a benefit in today's publishing climate with all the access we have to the market these days.
We are leaning towards not needing an agent since they wouldn't bring much to the table unless our current novels took off and a big publisher wanted to dump a lot of money into our future(not a very likely possibility).
What do you think?

Congrats, Edwin. Your novel is on my TBR list (maybe about two books away), so expect another review in about 2 to 3 weeks :-)

Hi, Craig. I had two well-known NY agents over a span of several years...and I did get a Random House offer (which I turned down when they recinded and lowered the offer price) and had a book pending at Hallmark Studios (Greg Kinnear was looking at the starring role). Today, I do wonder if agent marketing guidance would be helpful but the days of agents finding big contracts for unknown authors seems almost gone.
However, I'm sure we would all like to learn more if you do :-)

I'd like to challenge everyone to share some unique marketing ideas, no matter how crazy. I'm going to start by saying I've been kicking around the possibility of starting a short story website where not only the story writers receive exposure but also where story reviewers and other writers get exposure. Any thoughts?

Edwin,
E-mail me at sandy.wolters@q.com so we can talk about the blog. http://sandywolters.weebly.com/sandys...
Thanks.

Here is a link to my blog and you can determine whether or not you want to give this book a shot:
Imagine Selling 1 Million eBooks in 5 Months.
I will add that, even now - just a few days after publishing the blog - I'm noticing some of John Locke's Twitter fans are beginning to follow me as well. I presume they are finding something of interest.
Furthermore, I'm not sure how many members of this group are familiar with hash tags on Twitter. Simply put, at the end of my tweet for my John Locke blog, I entered #johnlocke. Now, when people search for John Locke on Twitter, my tweet will be somewhere in the list.
Also, take a look at the list of people you are following on Twitter. Check each one and, regardless of who they are, if they have not tweeted for more than 3 months, unfollow them. The tweets being sent in their direction are a waste of time.
One more thing: don't go big on promotion if you only have 1 book for sale. Give possible readers at least 2 to 3 titles so they have something more to read immediately. If they have to wait a period of months, they may forget all about you.
I discovered this situation, firsthand, a couple days ago. A lady bought my book and can't wait for the next book to come out so I'm hoping to have it released in November instead of December.
These are just a few tips to get you started and I was introduced to each one by John Locke. really - for the sake of the $2.99 Kindle fee the book costs on Amazon, it is definitely worth your while.
