Dr. Seuss's stories and made up words thth rhyme somehow never get old. THEY ARE THOSE BOOKS YOU NEVER GET SICK OF, YOU NEVER FORGET, and YOU NEVER THROW OUT!!

So true. :) Childhood memories? Poetry that's so simple that you want to make it more deep so you can think on it more? I guess we'll never know. :)
Fox in Sock is a good tongue-twister book. I recall reading it to my daughter, we used to love the word rhymes. Even the Diggingest Dog is another one, not a Seuss book, though.
It was the frist book I learned how to read. Dr.seuss created books that people will be showing there kids for years

My mother read them to me, and I read them to my son. As an actor, I use "Fox in Socks" for enunciation practice. Excellent!
The first book I learned to read was Hop on Pop, and I started scribbling all over it, trying to write like him. I don't scribble anymore, but I'm still trying. He's my favorite ever.
Shel Silverstein is another fantastic children's author. His poems AMAZED me as a child and still do as an adult!
Yup. I love them. I tried writing poetry... but it didn't really work. But his books are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dr. Seuss is an amazing writer!!!! You can ready any one of his books on a bad day and he'll chear you up!! I love to read them to by boys!
i write poetry. i made this onei glued to the back of my one notebook and all my friends rly like it. it basically tells of how we shld live our lives.
i read the places you'll go it was one of my favorites when i was introduced to reading at the age of 8.
